Very comfortable apartment and the property. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Enrico, the owner, was wonderful. We concluded our evenings with a glass of wine on his wonderful patio and Enrico would always come by say high and entertain us for a few minutes with his wonderful Italian charm and humor. Property is wonderful, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was wonderful. All in all, an incredible stay. Private parking was near and safe. Location was perfect - little out of town and touristy traffic which we like, close to the grocery store as well as downtown (about 10min walk) as well as archeological site (maybe 15min walk).

We stayed in the BnB for 5 nights, the best bnb I have ever stayed so far. I gave them a 5 star. It's easy to find the property, very bright and it feels like you are at home. There is an allocated gated parking for the guests. Enrico and his team did excellent job with the cleanliness of the rooms, they welcomed us with warmth and friendliness including their dog Chicco. They have made sure we are all comfortable and satisfied, we were asked for choices on our breakfast, towels where changed in between our stay . On our last day of stay, they prepared our breakfast earlier than scheduled since we have to leave early for our flight. Enrico assisted us to find a coach to the Amalfi coast and to communicate with the autotrade for our toll problem, he went extra mile to sort it out for us and we appreciated it so much. Enrico was our Pompei ruins' tourist guide- it was relax, knowledgeable and full of fun. We highly recommend his place and to have him as your Pompei tourist guide too!!!

Easy to locate, near shops, walking distance to the centre. The place is beautiful with nice ambiance, the facilities are complete with tv, ref, hairdryer, heater/cooler, clean room and toilet. With good choice of breakfast and hot drinks. The private parking means your car is safe. The staff are lovely and very helpful with good recommendation of places to see.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, Enrico, Matthia and Adriana are so helpful and accommodating.

Location was close to the train station (12 min walk) which meant at night far enough away from the town centre but close enough to walk. Apartment was great, nice to have some outside space and Enrico & Adrianna were amazing hosts, Chico the dog was as predicted the star, who loved a tummy rub! The room was great for the 3 of us & breakfast was the best, Enrico even made sure my lactose free son had options 😍, Enrico also arranged the Pompeii tour which was reasonably priced & our guide was fantastic thanks Enrico I have already recommended you!

Enrico ,Adriana and Mattia were all so welcoming kind and helpful throughout our stay. Best hosts I have ever had. Enricos knowledge of Ancient Pompeii is amazing and he was able to advise us on the best trips to do. Chicco the dog is just adorable too. Pompeii Square is a 10 minute walk away. There are three entrances to the Ruins main one about 30 minute walk. 3 Train stations all in walking distance.

Enrico and Mattia were very hospitable - they picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, made us feel comfortable and are very responsive and happy to take any questions / assist whenever they can. We also booked a tour with Enrico who is a guide at the Pompei ruins. He was funny and informative. Breakfast was filling with a couple selection of meats, breads and pastries and coffees. Thanks to the hosts we enjoyed our time at Pompei greatly. It was worth the stay!

sparkling clean and sufficiently big rooms with A/C, nice renovated building and athmosphere with garden and sunbeds to relax after a long day. Enrico was a very welcoming, friendly and helpful host who gave us lots of tips and with perfect communication before and during the stay, the breakfast was really good. The hotel is a 15-20min walk away from the Pompei site with many small groceries on its way. There is a really good family-run pizzeria just around the corner of the hotel where we had traditional, take-away pizzas twice during our stay. there is a calm parking lot 20 meters from the hotel where you can leave your car for free. overall I clearly recommend this place and would return. thanks Enrico for your hospitality!

everything was just fine

Excellent location in a peaceful neighborhood but still close to the center and Pompeii ruins. Just a short walk of 15 minutes, don't need a car at all. Parking was also great. The room was clean, with a big and comfortable bed, nicely furnished with everything you need. Breakfast was also very good, enough food in a cozy atmosphere. We also liked the dog Chicho very much.

This review is for a B&B and not a hotel which is why I didn't give a maximum rating for the facilities even though I was aware that breakfast is served in the well-kept garden and that there were sunbathing beds in the garden. As the warmer season hadn't started when we stayed there we couldn't experience these options. It is a family-run business and all members of the friendly were extremely helpful and friendly with Enrico speaking very good English which is a big plus if you don't speak Italian.

You probably need to like walking if you stay at Maison de Charme as it is a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Pompei where you will find all the town's attractions. You could drive to the town centre but you would would have to find parking spaces which may not be too easy.

Enrico is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome, even offering lifts to and from train stations nearby when possible. The property itself is well situated, as it is a 15-20 minute walk from the main stretch of restaurants and attractions without being too close to be too busy. Good breakfast, clean and comfortable room and a very relaxed environment. Heating/aircon system was very convenient.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room (which we drink a lot of!) though Enrico did tell us to use the main kitchen when we wanted, which we did on a few occasions. We experienced a bit of noise in our room overnight as people came and went - our room was close to the front door so this was to be expected.
