This was a comfortable hotel but be aware, it's not really near any of the bigger towns or facilities of Aso. It does however, have a car park, which was an important factor in our decision making. Room was comfortable if a little small from other places we stayed on Kyushu, wifi was good and breakfst is included. If you want to have dinner at the hotel, it costs over $60 AUD a person so you may want to think about having a big lunch or bringing some snacks back to the hotel. There is an onsen included in the hotel price however we didn't take a look as we didn't have time.
Everything was fine, if a little far from services and facilities.

Great location at the base of Mt Aso just minutes away! New facilities, very clean, amazing recliner chairs, and beautifully designed indoor onsen area. Very comfortable and large room. Plentiful buffet. Had all the amenities of an onsen hotel.
This is not necessarily the hotel’s fault but many large international tour groups like to stay at this hotel. So sometimes, the buffet line for dinner and breakfast can get quite busy! The eating area also gets very chaotic and loud. As an international guest myself, I always try to respect local customs and follow the onsen rules. However, I noticed that several guests were not following the onsen rules, which greatly impacted the experience. Thus, if you are seeking a boutique onsen experience, this is not your place to stay. Otherwise, it was excellent!

The rooms were roomy by Japan standards and the public onsen nice to use even though it was in an enclosed space (it didn’t feel like a basement). The buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent, the grilled beef was so tender and sashimi nice and fresh. However there are no dinner options in the town itself, only in the next town over but they are small shops and can get fully booked so plan ahead or just eat at the accommodation for ease of planning.

The location and the view from the room is wonderful. We booked a room with dinner and breakfast and we enjoyed the food provided by the hotel. There is also an Onsen where you can bath in water with 40-41 degree Celsius. There are plenty of parking space in front of the hotel.
There are some small insects on the curtain of the bathroom. Please check and get rid of them. The pillow is too hard and too high, causing neck pain.

Very big, clean rooms, modern and new building. Staff were polite and spoke good English. Car parking right outside the hotel. Beds comfortable. Good value for money. Location was just a short drive to Nakadake Crater and Kusasenri.
We stayed 2 nights and had booked the breakfast and dinner at the hotel too. A bit disappointed with both the breakfast and dinner. Could do with more variety and less fried foods, especially for kids. For such a new and big property we expected the onsen to be wonderful. A bit disappointed, the onsen was big but very plain, just like a big bathhouse. No outdoor onsen too. Thought it was quite a waste when so much more can be done with it.

Superb buffet-style dinner and breakfast - everything fresh and incredibly tasty, with a great variety of the most popular Japanese and Western foods. On top of that, kind and helpful staff. I also loved the public bath - quite spacious, clean and with quite a nice view of the mountains. I could see Aso-san from my room as well, and it made my day <3 I strongly recommend this hotel, great value for a fraction of the price of other good local hotels.

We drove from Fukuoka to the hotel, plenty of free parking available at the front of the hotel. The room was very spacious and have amazing views of the mountains. We had half board with our room so it was buffet breakfast and dinner, it was mostly Japanese cuisine and was very delicious. Dinner had sashimi, meat and also lobster. The hotel staff gave us complimentary drinks to celebrate our anniversary which was a nice touch. Onsen was lovely as well.

The facility is nice. However, only few staffs are able to communicate in English. I called the reception and asked for a bathroom mat which they forgot to put in our room. The staff who picked up my call couldn't speak and understand English; therefore, what he did was to hang up. That's a kind of rude! I think not all staffs need to speak and understand English but at least one of the receptionists in each shift should be able to do that so that he/she could help resolve problems for hotel guests.

Fresh new property set-in exclusive quiet plot next to main roadway surrounded by vast green fields. Large indoor onsen provides excellent access to rejuvenate every tiring soul.
Alternative meal options are far away requiring own transportation, however, Uchinomaki…about 15 mins drive provides wide arrays of restaurants To satisfy every needs.

I love the location. It's really not near any touristy spots but it is quiet and beautiful. It would have been better if it is not raining. The hotel is huge, clean and well maintained. The facilities are superb. I love that dinner and breakfast are included. Please keep it up. I will visit again and hopefully they maintain their standard.
To some people, the location may be a letdown. If you drive, it is flat land. From here, you can explore Mount Aso. Suggest to add a small gym with some weights because they have sufficient space in the hotel. This will differentiate them from other hotels. The entrance lobby could have better shelter for those alighting from vehicles. We were wet. Luckily hotel staff saw us and came running with umbrellas. They are very attentive.
