Where do I start? The moment you walk in the room, it was a surprise for me, it felt like I walked into a new house and the beds were fantastic. Shame I had to wake up as the bed was so soft I didn't want to get out of bed. Although it was extremely cold outside as it was snowing in nearby Orange, I felt the room was a pleasant comfortable temperature even with me turning off the air con that was keeping the rooms warm. I do travel with my own pillow but I do have to complement that the pillows were to my standards. It can be very hard to find accommodation with the right pillows but I was so glad that the pillows were right for me. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful with enquiries. I certainly do want to come back. It's an A+ or a triple AAA rating from me. Wwll done and thank you Pete

The room was spacious including a small table with 2 chairs, a 2 seater lounge, comfortable queen bed and pillows and plenty of extra bedding if needed. The shower had efficient hot water with good pressure, the bathroom and room were very clean. The host is friendly and informative, with suggestions for dinner close by. The location is easy to find and only a 5 min walk to the main shopping street and supermarkets. Room was quiet, no traffic noise.

Everything was great

I have been travelling for 3 months all over Australia, this room was easily the best room I have stayed in. The room was very well presented, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was great, but the shower moved this room to the top of the list, exceeding some 5-star rooms I have stayed in. The owner was very welcoming and the price and location, you couldn't beat it. A hidden Gem.

Only petty, but the owners suggestions for restaurants. I suggest doing your own research as there are some nice hidden restaurants around town.

Great location, quiet and clean. Everything we needed for a short stay. The second bedroom even had its own TV.

We had an accessible room, which was fine, but the floor tiles were so slippery! Water easily escapes with kids in a shower with a curtain and we had a number of slips and falls during our stay. Also the light on the AC was unusually bright and annoying.

Warm friendly and caring reception from Bill on arrival , we got a upgraded room to suite and it was my mums birthday a perfect stay . Suite had so many thoughtful amenities and was a massive space 2 bedroom with a small kitchenette.

Restaurant was closed .

Wonderful stay. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Room was spacious and well considered with places to store luggage. Fridge, microwave and basic crockery was a nice option to prepare light meals and snacks. Location convenient, walking distance to town and nearby RSL. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

Great location and the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. I received a text prior to arrival asking approx arrival time, when we arrived the heater was on in the room! What a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated.

Everything was perfect

I have stayed here four times, I feel safe and 3/4 rooms have had great aircon. Every room is very clean and the staff are friendly. Best accomodation In Parkes.

Great motel, best in Parkes everything has been great other than one small improvement, fixing the aircon in room 11. :) other than that every time has been perfect.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Astro Dish Motor Inn. Convenient location, lovely & clean, spacious, comfortable bed, nicely fitted bathroom, air-conditioned with microwave & tea & coffee facilities. Staff friendly & helpful. Great for my one night stay.

Great location near the centre of town, huge family room with king bed and two single beds in an adjoining room. Good size TV, bathroom was very spacious, good water pressure. Comfortable bed.

Smoking was allowed outside the rooms; with tables/chairs and ashtrays available. This was terrible for us non-smokers, constantly breathing in secondhand smoke as we entered or left our room when someone was smoking. Surely, smoking should not be allowed on the premises in 2023. The only bad thing about our stay. Minor truck noise from main road.
