A very enjoyable stay. Peace, quiet, and relaxation. The owner was friendly and helpful. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine. We were able to check into the apartment much earlier, and even though check-out is until 10 a.m., we were able to stay until the evening without any problems. There's a nice pool, plenty of sunbeds, and a poolside shop selling drinks, alcohol, and food. Prices are reasonable, not too expensive. The staff were great. The apartment was clean and cleaned daily. We had a balcony. The kitchen was well-equipped. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Transfers to and from the airport were excellent, for an additional fee. We used ED Transfers whenever we needed it, and I highly recommend it. There's a bus stop next to the resort. The Villamoura marina is a short drive away. Tickets are free. The Quanteria train tour stop is also nearby. It's close to Spar. Next to the resort is a hotel with live music and great food and drinks. The beach is a 15-minute walk away. I highly recommend it.

The road to the beach is not very charming, with buildings and cars parked on the sidewalks. We like to walk along the promenades/streets where there are tents selling souvenirs or clothes, restaurants, ice cream parlors, cafes, etc., on the right and left.

The Complex was lovely & relaxing. Very peaceful & quiet. Gardens were well kept.

The Ant invasion. We were tormented with Ants. We stayed in B2 beside the reception. We had to stop buying bread & other foods as the ants were all over the counter tops, fridge, floor, kitchen area & shower room. We would love to come back for another stay but would not stay in this apartment again.. It was pretty bad. They were everywhere. I have no other complaints. We had a lovely holiday, my boys loved the pool & the complex is close to shops & restaurants. I would come back but without the ants.

The location was excellent, lovely stroll into quarteira, supermarket 5 min from apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were staying in an apartment across the road from the main verde penio resort. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. We virtually had the use of the pool to ourselves for our 7 night stay.

The apartment was a little dated but this didn’t bother us, the only thing that could be improved was probably a deep clean of the couch (pull out bed) in the sitting room and the spare blanket for the couch could have done with a wash. This is just an observation and I would happily return again next year and would highly recommend this complex

Gloria was such a lovely lady, very accommodating and easy to deal with. The accommodation was cleaned everyday and very spacious. Nice quiet place. No rush for sunbeds each morning. Rooms were surprising big, we even had 2 balconies. Kitchenette was great, large fridge freezer, hob, oven, kettle, toaster etc. Airconditioning was perfect.

It is a bit far from the main areas and based in a residential area so a bit out but a taxi is so cheap which helped especially if you have kids and buggys. Also there are no side walks as cars park on them and have to walk on the roads which isn't safe with kids. Rooms, pool, exterior is very dated, kind of old style Portuguese vibe. Our room was based in another block across from the main block which was quite misleading as per photos but didn't bother us as we preferred the pool in the block we ended up in. One of our balconies faced what looked like a block of Social apartments with dogs barking so we didn't use that balcony and instead used the pool view one.

We didn’t have any breakfast provided by the accommodation we were self catering. There were adequate facilities for cooking a meal. We cooked breakfast ourselves a few times and went out for breakfast a few times. We ate out each night for our evening meal. Lots of very good restaurants around the Marina serving delicious food.

We thought there was a snack bar on site. But found it was closed during our stay. Would have been nice to have a snack and a drink while sunbathing around the pool area.

Very clean and cleaned regularly. Probably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in for self catering accommodation. Very family friendly. The snack bar was great. All staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back☺️

Kitchen units a wee bit dated and just 2 ring hob but was were well stocked with appliances ( microwave, juicer and coffee machine) and plenty of saucepans

We are just back from a brilliant holiday in Verde Pino. It's a lovely small resort that's really pretty and so well kept. The staff are so helpful and friendly. It's situated in a lovely area close to many lovely local restaurants and Pastelaria's. It's only a 10 minute walk from the main town of Quarteria with its fabulous beach and about a 25-minute walk from Vilamoura. The apartments are so well equipped with everything you need, and there is always lots of space at the 2 pools. We can't wait to go back, wish we could have stayed longer.

Location, 10 min walk to a Continente Supermarket, 17 min walk to the Beach and near to Government Offices. Although surrounded by other properties it’s very quiet especially at night. I stayed with my Wife and our 2 dogs, no issues with pets at all, about 28 rooms and half are ground floors, easy access to grass areas for the dogs.

A lot of cats around, they do no 1’s and 2’s, on the streets outside dog Poohs on paths and roads, most owners don’t pick up after. It’s easy to walk to the beaches but dangerous, have to walk on roads especially through the Quarteira old town, very few paths as cars are always blocking them, using wheelchairs is impossible, kerbs are very high and areas to go up/down are often blocked by parked cars and vans.

Everything was perfect. Great location. Only 15 minutes walk to beach. Shops close by. Pool clean and plenty sun loungers. Comfortable beds. Apartment cleaned daily. Thanks for accommodating us for late arrival and late checkout. Kids enjoyed the pool till the very last minute.

Could do with 1 or 2 knives. Some chopping boards. Simple little things if staying for longer time self catering.

First time visiting Verde Pino. Gloria was amazing. She reserved a room according to my requests. She was very prompt to reply to any questions prior to visiting. The staff are fantastic, from the cleaners to Suzanne at the cafe bar. Excellent cleanliness. These ladies all work extremely hard. Our microwave wasn't working and when I reported to Gloria is was replaced with a brand new one within 10 mins. It was my husbands burthday whilst we were on holiday and Gloria very kindly sent a bottle of wine for acknowledge his birthday. The pool area is lovely and relaxed. Sunbeds available throught the day. All other guests that we met were all very friendly and the kids all shared floats etc. There is also BBQ facilities available if you wanted to BBQ. Excellent value for money. Restaurants in Quarteria only a short walk away. We used Ubers if we needed a taxi anywhere. They were very quck to come and reasonably priced. Such a lovely relaxing holiday. Thankbyou very much yo all thd staff ay Verde Pino. We have already spoke to Gloria about going back next year.
