Lovely room nice furnishings. Comfortable bed . Bathroom and shower great. Nice bar area. Didn't eat there so can't comment. Breakfast is left in fridge for you

Nothing really just felt its a bit impersonal when u check out and don't speak to anyone just leave the key and let yourself out the door. Otherwise everything was very pleasant.

I have been visiting jedburgh for over 40 years since a child but never stayed in town. We booked as a halfway point between our home & Edinburgh for 1 night. Very impressed with the room and decor - we had the balcony room - very clean and stylish. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom and had all you needed for a short stay (they have an apartment for longer trips). The staff were very friendly & we had a good conversation. I didn't eat in the restaurant but had a couple of drinks - again very nice looking restaurant and popular with locals- always a good sign. A hidden gem!

The only thing I would change is maybe the patio doors to the balcony - single glazed - though that said - its at the end of the high street near the river so very quiet. But part of the charm.

Excellent hotel, the facilities and the staff were amazing. When I booked a night's stay for myself and my dog, I'd just envisioned something very basic, as it was quite cheap even at relatively short notice. This couldn't have been further from the truth, the staff were a credit to the town of Jedburgh, the cleanliness was fantastic and the facilities in my room were on another level. The menu for the restaurant was mouthwatering, however as I tend to work to a tight budget, Harley Davidson, aren't the cheapest mode of transport, I had to miss this opportunity, however I know I'll be tempted and succumb in the future. I will definitely be staying again in the future and would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Nothing not to like

The location and good parking options at the hotel. The boutique feel inside- a relaxing environment, good restaurant food and polite friendly staff.

Lack of breakfast options. We would have preferred a breakfast option in the dining area rather than a small fridge in our room offering only cheese cold croissants some juices and a couple of cereal options. I’m sure the produce was fresh but we couldn’t tell how long the items had been in the fridge when we arrived. We had to opt for better breakfast options in the local cafe in Jedburgh high street a few minutes walk from the hotel.

From the minute we arrived the staff were amazing helping us find parking in Jedburgh and booking us into the room. It made the whole experience amazing (especially as we had just finished a 7 hour drive to get there). We booked into the restaurant to eat and I have top say the food is off the chart amazing. We also met the owner in the bar who gave us the complete break down of the area places to visit and his time just sitting talking over a beer or two (possibly 3).

Nothing the place, staff, room and food were exceptional. It was the perfect stop after a long day travelling.

Travelling alone, I felt really safe staying here. Even when I returned to the room after 10pm. The room was really clean and spacious and the bed was nice and comfy. I don't think I moved once during the night. It was really central and had plenty of parking on street and close by. Lots of lovely little shops close by too. I loved the breakfast in the room with the mini fridge. A great selection from cereal to cheese and pastries. Oh and the shower had great water pressure too.

I couldn't get the Wifi to work, realised this when no staff were around, which was a bit disappointing as needed to do work when away, but just connected to my phone. I did also need to ask twice for a hairdryer, second time owner was there and he sorted it. ( Thank you) I didn't realise at the time of booking the restaurant isn't open on a Monday, which was a shame as the menu looked great and I just wanted to not go far after a long day. The staff did recommend a little pub up the road for food and it was super delicious and worth the few-minute walk and again felt welcome travelling alone. ( pre-book as it gets busy). Apart from that everything was fabulous.

Continental breakfast pre-prepared and stored overnight in bedroom fridge. Two nice cheeses and tasty fruit juice. Cereal, milk, croissants, oatcakes, yougurts and jam also available.

Perhaps it’s because we had a long bike ride ahead of us, and I’m also not a lover of cereal, but I felt there wasn’t enough food to set me up for the day ahead. It might have been fine if we weren’t going to be exercising. Also, the croissants weren’t at their best having been stored in the fridge overnight and were therefore quite chilled.

We stayed in the Deluxe Double room which includes a balcony, and it was fantastic. It was comfortable, stylish and had plenty of space. Plenty of parking outside. The bathroom is modern and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast is lovely and already in your fridge when you arrive - croissants, ham, cheese, jams and butter, cereals and milk - lots of options and all fresh and tasty. We had ours on the balcony and really enjoyed it. Great value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We paid for late checkout and the message wasn't passed on to the cleaner so we were knocked on several times in the morning which was a shame, but it wasn't bad enough to knock any stars off. We had a few issues with the restaurant/bar downstairs but this has nothing to do with the hotel stay and I'll leave a separate review for that.

Room was comfy and clean. Heating was easy to use. Bathroom was clean and shower was good.

Walls a little thin. I laughed at the tv and the next door neighbour knocked on the wall. Our tv was so low we actually had subtitles on so it wasn't the tv they could hear. Really?! Breakfast was a little disappointing. I thought I just assumed it would be in the breakfast room and not a fridge in our room. However the cost was fine and we ate out.

Very comfy room in the centre of Jedburgh. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities- breakfast was in the fridge in the room- croissants, cheese, jam, oatcakes, yoghurt, apples with cereal, orange and apple juice and milk. A good and filling start to the day. Very good value for money too.

We liked the breakfast choice- if you want a cooked breakfast, this isn’t the place for you.
