My familiy and I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and yard, and it was absolutely perfect. The room had everything expected — all the necessary furniture, curtains, TV, high-quality toiletries, and a luxurious bathtub. The beds were especially comfortable, and on the balcony there was a table and chairs — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. The corridors were well maintained, with a nice, clean atmosphere, and everywhere you look there is a touch of art that adds charm to the hotel’s ambience. The external pools are excellent and cater to every need. There is even a dedicated pool for children, kept at just the right temperature — not too hot, not too cold — so they can enjoy swimming for longer without getting tired. The staff was outstanding — very welcoming and attentive, from the reception to the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was excellent, with a variety that pleased the whole family. Overall, Hotel Hisar Spa offers everything you could want for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, making it an ideal place for families and travelers alike.

Nothing really, very minor wear and tear of the furniture and surroundings but that is no issue at all.

Located in a quiet part of the city, very green and peaceful. Hotel offers an excellent variety of spa facilities and a great indoor swimming pool, along with a relaxing big outdoor pool with bar/food. We had a huge bed and nice terrace overlooking the outside area.

While the spa was excellent the rooms really need some attention to detail and an upgrade - I would rate them bellow average and definitely not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Can’t be described as “deluxe” in any way, let’s say “decent”. The bar with food next to the outdoor pool is heavily overpriced for the things it offers. But overall- we had a relaxing stay.

We stayed in a room in the standard wing of the hotel. This part still has the spirit of the old Soviet times and it needs renovation. Some of the wallpapers in the room were peeling off. The room should provide more for the price we paid . Some members of the staff were looking fed up with their job. In one of the departments we were welcomed by a staff member eating cookies and explaining about the procedures. She couldn't stop eating for the whole time.

The whole property has a kind of “socialist times” ambience, but it was honestly renovated, the swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and the hot open-air pool are very comfortable and accessible. The breakfast is very good as well. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The breathtaking monuments of ancient Roman town Diocletianopolis are 10-15 min walk and definitely worth a visit. Mineral water springs in the town are also not far and look very special.

The standard rooms definitely need renovation, to minimize the noise the sound isolation should be provided…

The rooms are spacious and clean; the swimming pool is great, the hotel is well located- all green and quite. The majority of the staff was well trained and polite, the food at the pool restaurant was very good. It has tennis courts and bowling so all fun for children and families.

The internet connection was bad, the ladies at the reception (with the exception of the one with the blue hair) were out of space. They had no idea why they were there. The swimming pool was not well cleaned as all my swimming suits and shirts became yellow. The corridor smelled a lot of chemicals/toilet.

This is probably the best SPA hotel in Hisaya town and I have been here several times in different seasons. This time only the bartender at the lobby bar and the staff at Prestige restaurant were on the usual level.

The cleaning in the deluxe wing was disaster. There was dust in the bathroom (if you could even imagine that). The cleaning lady just changed one wet towel, which I left on the floor (as the institutions said) but didn't throw the garbage bin, nether refill/replaced the shower gel which was gone. There was no usual relaxing music in the SPA zones, and no lavender/mint in the steam bath and Roman bath. The receptionist at the SPA was a rather arrogant gay, self centred, not well informed for the prices and services different from those that he offers.

I was pleasantly surprised, in many countries there are various hotels that that play the star system and at some point the hotels may have complied with the specifications, but more often than not it is just a 3+ star at best. But here I was pleasantly surprised that it was a hotel that complied with the specifications of a 4 star both in service and facilities.

Great hotel, tasty breakfast, and very nice spa area. Even though the hotel was full with people, there was enough space in the spa and sauna areas. We really enjoyed it for a weekend getaway. There were two pools outside - one very hot one (39 degrees) and one a bit colder to balance the body temperature. Inside, there is a big swimming pool (bring your shower cap) and 3 small Jacuzzis. On a selarate floor there is the sauna area with one steam room and a hot sauna of 68-70 degrees. The surrounding is great. There is bowling, tennis court, bars and kids entertainment room. 3-4 minutes away from the hotel there are also some nice ‘mehana’ restaurants with traditional bulgarian food. Overall, great experience and recommend it for a getaway trip.

The room’s carpet smelled a bit of mould, but opening the window solved the problem.

It is a perfect facility for recreation and rest. It has a marvelous SPA center, swiming pools (inside and outside) full with mineral water. The water is famous with its curing abilities, which is a big advantage. It is situated in such a place, close to most of the mineral springs, which is another advantage of the property.

Prices.

We went in winter and unfortunately missed the outdoor hot spring experience. The temperature of the indoor hot spring was not too high, which was the only drawback. The breakfast at the hotel was very rich and delicious. The hotel room was a little small, but the balcony was great and you could see the beautiful sunrise. Parking could be a problem if you arrive at the hotel late at night.
