I travel a lot for work and I can say that this place is awesome. It's newly re renovated, it's CLEAN. The bed is comfy, the fridge works and was cold when I got in. It's really clean and tidy and that's so important. It's roomy, has a couch and I'm so impressed with the motel. I've stayed at places that were much more money and well I would rather sleep in the car. I'm happy I got to try this little gem out.

There is nothing I didn't like.

Lovely warm welcome by the owner, quick check in and as requested a ground floor room. Pleasantly surprised how nice the room was, clean and fresh, roomy, everything we needed was there, nice comfortable bed, air con if needed, sofa and kitchen, good roomy bathroom and well worth the 30 min walk to the lake side and beach - fantastic for the price 😀

Nothing - all was excellent

Room was clean. Bed was well made. Mattress was comfortable. We made use of the WiFi while at the motel this time.

Too much light from outside. (Curtains could be raised a bit more to keep the light out.) Too much green light inside. (My wife and I like a really dark room.) Refrigerator was somewhat noisy. We found the temperature a little warm for the first night, but adjusted it for the second night. The lower temperature helped us to sleep more soundly.

The motel itself is further away from the main street making it a little quieter from constant traffic. There is ample parking space. Keep a set of earplugs or white noise machine as there are large diesel trucks leaving as early as 3am. The rooms are immaculate, large soaking tub, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Beds are very comfortable with a firm mattress, especially for us bad back folks! Walking distance to grocery stores, fast food restaurants, Canadian Tire store and gas bar, small shopping mall, located near a neighborhood if one likes to take a walk after work. Beautiful restoration of the parking lot.

Cleanliness and polite staff

This is a small motel, so I was not expecting a 5 star hotel. So there’s nothing to dislike

The room was very lovely and comfortable. Ample room for sitting and relaxing both inside and outside. Great hosts! Close to restaurants.

Some issue with noise from water pipes early early morning.

Enjoyed staying here for a night. Staff was kind, helpful and professional. It had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were comfy. Floors were clean and area was quiet. I had a good night sleep. I will definitely book again.

Hairdryer did not work, but no big deal, because weather was also good so it was ok to let the hair dry naturally as well.

I liked the smiles and the conversation with the owners as we cleaned snow off our car and they cleared snow off the sidewalks.

I wish there had been a place to hang out coats.
