This motel is a little gem. The room was cutely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous and has little extras if you want to treat yourself. The mini bar is very, very well stocked with everything you need for a snack or drink. The comfort station has coffee, tea and 4 kinds of milk in the refrigerator. They've thought of everything. The online check-in was simple, and I could use my phone to unlock the door. I was peopled-out and just wanted to rest, and was glad to not have to go through the hassle of checking in person. Although I did speak with the front desk staff during my stay, and they were very nice.

I didn't get a chance to go to the restaurant. I was able to see it and it looked very cute. I would have liked to see the menu to see if they had any gluten-free options. Next time!

A lot of vision and design went into this motel renovation. Theme rooms are well done with lots of quality touches. The staff members were exceptional and very helpful. Location is a bit out of the way but fine for exploring the area, which was quiet at night. Cafe is inviting with good food (especially brunch). I also appreciate that they support live music.

Minor things: The bathroom window could use a blind to reduce morning light into the room. The rooms are small, so there is no room for a sitting chair (but the bed was extremely comfortable!). The total price in Booking.com should include the taxes, so it is truly the Total.

Five Stars – Retro Cool & Total Comfort! The Chelsea Motel is such a unique find! Our renovated room was spotless, with an ultra-comfy bed, a cool retro-modern bathroom, and fun vintage décor. The store and restaurant have an amazing vibe — books, records, treats, and a cozy fireplace and stocked fridge. Great price, unbeatable atmosphere, and just minutes from the Nordik Spa. Nothing we didn’t love — 100% would stay again!

Exceptional and beautiful place! All the details are taken care of, the beds, sheets and towels are super comfortable. The bathroom is big and the shower and tub are amazing! The staff is responsive and friendly! Beautiful decoration and design, very cute and well thought out. Really cute cafe and restaurant on site from Thursday to Sunday. Close to both Chelsea and Wakefield. I will absolutely be staying here again!

We loved everything!

We were unfamiliar with this motel, and surprised to discover a true motel at this location. We arrived late and left early. Although we didn't meet any of the staff, we did communicate with them because their stated time window for checking-in is very narrow, (between 15h00 and 17h00) and we were arriving much later. Despite some minor technological issues we were successfully provided with an electronic key via a phone app that worked very well. The room was very comfortable, albeit a bit small for the king size bed. The accoutrements in the room made for a pleasant atmosphere. The comfortable bathroom was very clean, large, and functional. The basics were provided and additional personal hygiene products were available for purchase. The shower was great. The motel is quite close to the highway but sufficiently remote to be very quiet. We heard a wildlife fight (likely racoons) shortly after we arrived. Interestingly the motel also serves as a venue and although we did not see the venue itself, based on the size of the building it would be a wonderfully intimate locale. The location was great for our purposes.

The parking lot was quite dark and the entrance poorly lit and very difficult to find in the dark.

We were thrilled with the large size of the suite and access to a kitchen so we didn't have to leave the room to get food (we brought out own); we also LOVED the pillows and had the best sleep ever! Appreciated the iPhone charging stations, provisions of milk and sugar for our morning coffees, and beautiful fireplace. Overall, it was exceptional.

Loved the flamingo room! So many fun things to look at plus really pleasant lighting options. The room and bathroom were both pristine. The bed was very comfortable with a variety of pillows to snuggle up with - much appreciated!

The coffee was convenient, but it wasn’t as tasty as we were hoping. We sadly couldn’t drink it. I think it may have something to do with the water? We noticed the water by itself had a bit of a different flavour. Perhaps a filtered water and slightly yummier coffee option would go a long way?

My husband and I stayed in the trailer and loved it. Clean and fresh. Comfortable and convenient. Cute and compact. Newly renovated and very cheerful. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend staying in this adorable accommodation. Easy drive to Gatineau Park and Wakefield. Not walking distance to either though, so a car is necessary. Food at the restaurant was tasty with very generous portions, just a bit expensive. Had a great time. Thanks!

The property is located between Chelsea and Wakefield. Very clean. Cute little chairs out front of your room. Surrounded by nature. The rooms are adorable! Drinks and snacks are there for a fee. Convenient tea and coffee room open at all times. Restaurant was delicious as well! And very friendly staff. I loved it! Will definitely be back.

I adore the chic retro vibes of this quaint motel. The completely ecclectic and colourful decor is visual eye candy (totally IG worthy)! The bathroom was modern, stunning and sparkling clean. The pillows, duvet and sheets were plush and soft. Lea was amazing! She answered all of our questions. She also gave helpful suggestions for breakfast and dinner alternatives when the restaurant was closed. Not only would I recommend this motel but I would also go back to stay in the different rooms and trailer :)
