The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect for a planned stopover on the way from Alicante to Santander and just a few kilometres from the main route. We loved the quirky decor and country house feel and the room was perfect for our needs, warm, clean and comfortable. Though it was winter we also sat outside and enjoyed the terrace, but did not sample the outdoor pool! The food was simple and tasty and the breakfast was a generous continental buffet with the welcome option of eggs on toast. We thought the staff did everything they could to make us welcome and our stay was a pleasure and we can highly recommend.

There was very little to not like. It was a bit less inviting as it was winter and hard to judge how they would cope if full but we had a lovely experience with the hotel pretty much to ourselves.

This hotel is set in a beautiful pine forest with well maintained grounds and pool. The continental breakfast was varied and delicious as was the evening meal. The rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you require for a comfortable stay. The hotel is perfect for families or couples alike. Our children loved the peacocks roaming around the grounds! I'm sure we will be back to stay again.

A beautiful place to stay. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved borrowing the bikes and riding the large loop with our daughter safely on hotel land. Friendly staff and peacocks! Very relaxing and quiet.

No lunch is served, so either bring food or be prepared to go out for lunch. Pool had some leaves etc in because you are surrounded by beautiful pine forest.

Old school feel, lovely tranquil setting, open fire in the lounge after a long cold rainy day out, flexibility on evening meal with young kids. Rooms were large and nice to have a suite with the kids too (two bedrooms and a shared bathroom). I imagine the views from most rooms are good. Must come back in summer to use the pool with a great view and have some drinks on the terrace while the kids swim.

You need to drive the last 2km slowly as the gravel road is a little bumpy!

This hotel is in an excellent location and is full of character. The staff are fantastic and we look forward to visiting whenever we can. The food is excellent and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed with great facilities.

Nothing really.

Everything. It's very rare we give 10. We have travelled the world and this is a lovely place to stay. It's located in a remote pine forest, is unspoilt and a great place to chill. The hosts are friendly and efficient. The food is good.

Google maps not accurate and main unpaved access road is not on Google maps or TomTom. We came in the back way on motorbikes which added to the adventure.

Breakfast was great. We were the only guests this day, and we still had everything. We also got fresh baked eggs. The room was older, but the whole hotel is made in old style, but nice, clean. I it a bit far from the vilage, but peace and you rest your mind here. I would recomend it. They also have a pool, lots of nature.

The floor in the room was noisy :).

The hotel is so nice, it has a mystique medieval vibe. The rooms and the bathroom are big. Really nice garden, pool, very clean. They also have donkeys and peacocks.

I cannot think of something I didn't like.

Location of this place and interior are the best! We liked it so much! The building is marvelous and you feel yourself like in a film. This place will stay in my mind forever. We are very thankful for the service. People who work there do all their best to keep this place clean and comfortable. We wish to visit this hotel once more one day.

Excelente atención y amabilidad por parte de todo el personal, me ayudaron hasta con un pequeño problema que tuvo el coche.. Espectacular para desconectar. Totalmente recomendado.
