Tordesillas is a historic monumental town at crossroads 3 major autovias 180kms north west of Madrid. Pozo de la Nieve (Snow Well Hotel) is 5 mins drive from highway in town centre, overhanging River Duero, Hotel is a bargain for overnight stay, good quiet economy room. Breakfast buffet ranges bacon to chocolate cake via fresh fruit. Friendly & generous late night reception. Take time to tour 13th century Santa Clara convent with beautiful Mudejar (Seville Alcazar style) vestibule & chapel ceiling. "Mad" Queen Juana retreated to convent from 1509-55. Sleepy town, plenty eateries.

All good except magnificent multijet shower jammed on standard rose spray. Bar cafe currently closed, plenty places nearby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very kind as I had a very late check-in. They also accommodated my dog which was so appreciated as not everywhere will accept pets. The Room was great and clean and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was ideal with nice coffee! A beautiful marble staircase and period banisters; along with ornate doorways and hallways, the hotel must hold a great history. What was super nice was that they let me work remotely after check out and this is invaluable if hotels can offer this service. It is well located for a good stopover in Spain if you’re en route to Huelva or Cadiz. A nice authentically Spanish town with cafe bars and shops within walking distance.

The reception when I arrived was friendly and warm... very pleasant after a long drive. The hotel met every need that I had and everything was clean, even if it's not luxurious or anything. The breakfast was quite extensive (for Spanish experience), well-presented, tasty.

Some noises (from the neighbouring rooms) were quite intense, but there were not many. The biggest downside for me personally, were the switch and sockets in the middle of the bed. To sleep with an EM field from a socket at centimetres from your head, is not healthy. They just don't belong there.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were very friendly, included the lovely lab that greeted us in entry, the room was spacious, well kept and decorated with taste. Little touches like the pot pourri, loving wrapped towels with flowers and lavender patterned glasses made us feel very welcome. Parking was easy with loads of spaces outside and I was able to start my day with a lovely run down past the medieval bridge and forest filled with sand! Breakfast was fully stocked even passed the 10 o´clock cut off time and although self service members of staff were around to aid if needed and say goodbye.

Little chocolates on the pillows would be the only thing that would make this better!

Excellent value for money. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. The breakfast was really excellent with a huge variety of items to choose from. Parking was freely available outside the hotel which was welcome when needing to move large suitcases. I would expect to stay here again in future years as it was great value for the amount the room cost.

I don't believe there is anything needed to make this hotel better. It was everything we needed for a short stay.

We had a really enjoyable stay here. The staff were really friendly. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. A huge choice available and all fresh and delicious. The hotel provided secure parking for our 5 motorcycles (as we were carrying luggage during our travels). This was in their basement area (accessible from the side of the property). We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place as a biker friendly venue! 🏍️😃 The location is great too - really easy to find!

This is lovely hotel situated in a spanish town, the price was excellent and you do get what you pay for. This was excellent value. The room and place was clean, tidy and bathroom just fine. Another major one for us was they take dogs and there is a bar.

Nothing, though I would add I don't like on street parking but had no problem and yes I knew before this would the case and chose to book knowing this. I certainly wouldn't do on street parking in the UK. However its not put us off and we will stay there again.

Excellent location that is close to Highway and near a traditional town which is with a historic castle, a antique square, and a majestic church that have been there for at least 400 years. We were especially moved by their extra-mile services and consideration. It's a special dinner-table preparation for our early dinner which we brought all foods and drinks with us. It's really a happy surprise to us.

Some facilities in the bathroom should be repaired or replaced.

It's a fine hotel, not expensive, and exactly en route between Lisbon and Bilbao or Biarritz. The breakfast was not very tasty, i'd recommend to have more vegetables.

You get what you pay for. It's not very new, the bathroom has seen better days, but nothing really bad, you simply need to have the right expectations for that price.

Good parking out front. Big room. Breakfast lots of choices of different types of food. Several meat types. Two cheeses that were flavored. Croissant and toast. Two cereals,two cookies, fresh fruit, several pastry choices and a good coffee, tea or cocoa machine plus juice. Staff were all super helpful and nice.

Code on lock gave us trouble. Staff had to help
