Very comfortable room in a lovely building. The outdoor swimming pool is enormous and very welcome after a long day's drive. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially on reception- a very positive first impression. I was also on half board and the rate was excellent value for money.

It would have suited me to have dinner a fair bit earlier. But I guess in Spain, 20h30 is quite early

Breakfast was included and exceptional. Building is very interesting architecture and very quiet. Rooms were great.

The hotel restaurant opened at 8.30pm, too late for us. Local restaurants and cafes closed at 5.30, so we developed a routine of eating a meal early afternoon and having a snack in the evening. We would have preferred to have dinner early evening.

The rooms are excellent and serviced daily. The breakfast arrangements are a buffet or simple breakfast which is toast and coffee. Visitors should be careful to ensure that the staff in the restaurant are told what you are going to have for breakfast because it is assumed that all take the buffet by default and there is quite a little large difference in price between the simple breakfast at €6.50 and the buffet at €18. Dinner in the restaurant is excellent as all the staff. Unfortunately, the pool was closed early in September which is quite common in Spain. This is a shame because many of us like ourselves avoid school holidays for our trips abroad. Unfortunately find that gymnasiums, pools and other parts of the facilities are closed to avoid having to put extra staff to manage them for the tourists. Overall, this is an excellent location and well worthy of a stopover.

There was not much to not like other than the closed facilities disappointment, there was an embarrassing moment with a rather loud bossy member of the breakfast staff who wasn't very helpful because she didn't speak English. We were treated like children as she loudly informed and demonstrated that we had to handle any food on the buffet table with the wooden tongues provided before we could go near the buffet.

The room was exceptionally good - very spacious, spotlesslty clean and comfortable. Services and amenities were fantastic. It's a place to soak in a bit of affordable luxury.

The internal spaces were extremely hot for myself and my partner and we couldn't find a way to regulate the temperature in our room. We prefer cooler temperatures though, so it may be just us, and this may well be welcome for others.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff. Room is decent size and comfortable bed. Indoor pool a bonus as outdoor pool was closed for the season. Good car parking

Bathroom could do with a refurbishment. Walk into town is along an unpleasant fast road for 20mins. Town is very nice and worth visiting for its bars and restaurants

We ate in the bar and paid cash for our meal and drinks. In the morning when we came to check out I was told we still had to pay for the meal we had eaten in the restaurant. I said we had not eaten in the restaurant and produced the bill/receipt from our meal in the bar - thank goodness I had kept them as I dont always. The receptionist was very polite about it but it does annoy me that I am put in this position - how can people charge stuff to my room - surely hotel staff should ask for residents to prove which room they are in when charging stuff to the room?

Good quiet room with all the expected facilities. Breakfast was good, as was dinner. Hotel easily accessible by road with plenty of parking. Between 15 and 20 minutes walk into Tordesillas where there were a number of restaurants and bars.

Not a great deal to do in Tordesillas itself, although it was more lively on market day. Hotel food was significantly more expensive than that in the town, some of which was just as good.

Elegant room and public areas. Close to Motorway for drive from Portugal to Santander. Good food and pleasant staff. Large room and large bathroom.

Comfortable large room, friendly reception and bar staff. Great and wide choice of hot and cold food for the buffet breakfast. Good choice of light meals in the bar (didn’t use the restaurant). About 2km/25min walk into Tordesillas centre along main road or gravel track. Plenty of parking spaces but none under cover.

Old style hotel. "Grandeur". Large rooms, large bathroom. Fantastic. Exceptional good breakfast. Parking area.

Not close to the center (bur I did know, I selected this hotel for easy access to the main roads). Because of the old building, rooms do not have a good acoustic isolation.
