We had a delicious evening meal - included in the price of the room - beds were comfortable, room clean and tidy. The bar man gave me a nice breakfast the next morning and provided me with a "take away" for my teenager who was "unable" to get vertical. There is no parking at the hotel but we were able to use the free public parking just across the road, steep entry drive slowly and the turns into each parking bay are tight.

Great location for stopping over en route to North coast. Comfortable and clean room - 2nd visit. The hotel's wine shop is also well worth a visit - try the white Vega Campo Carmen in the bar first!

Breakfast was not laid out and what was on offer was not explained so we had toast and jam, Orange juice and tea/coffee which was adequate. Large croissants came out afterwards which we would have preferred (we will know for next time!)

We were just passing through, staying only one night, and it was perfectly located on the main road through town. Good value when that's what you're looking for. It had the look of an older place that had been renovated and modernized. Lots of on-street parking in the area. Short walk to the central plaza and down to the river. Breakfast was a nice, typical Spanish breakfast served in the bar. On-site restaurant available for other meals.

We ate dinner from the "menú del día", which was reasonably priced but pretty average otherwise. The wine that came with the menú was pretty disappointing considering how close we were to the Ribera del Duero wine region.

Great evening meal included in the price. Really good bar area, lively and friendly.

The breakfast was fine but a bit basic, we weren't sure if we could ask for anything else, though I did get a second coffee.

superb location in town centre, free parking opposite. it’s not a busy town so feels quite safe. excellent hotel with cosy gastro bar with drinks and snacks , used a. lot by locals. comfortable rooms, warm and adequate. best aspect of the whole package is the half Board package, so includes a three course evening dinner, with a choice from a set menu. great food, served in the restaurant not the bar. and drinks are at very reasonable prices. so the whole age is excellent value for money.

you need some simple Spanish as most staff don’t speak English.

The room was very comfy and clean - perfect after a long drive from Andalucia. Staff and Manager were very friendly and helpful. We ate our evening meal in the bar (which was excellent) as there was an important football match to watch! Would like to eat in the restaurant next time as the menu looked really good and included traditional dishes from the region such as suckling lamb and pork.

Breakfast was not buffet so the choice was a bit limited but we had plenty to eat for our onward journey.

Comfortable ,clean hotel in ideal location to access Santander. Book with evening meal, excellent value, menu del Dia includes a bottle of house wine. Despite being on a busy road it is very quiet. Breakfast is basic, croissant, coffee and fruit juice but for the price you pay, perfectly acceptable. staff very friendly.

Great for an overnight stop. Clean room. Plenty of parking across the street. Extremely good value if you book with evening meal and breakfast. Good food and plenty of choice for dinner. Breakfast is quite basic but OK. Friendly staff.

Bathroom was very small. Air-conditioning was effective but quite noisy.

easy to find location, able to park opposite for free. warm and comfortable room, cosy gastro bar in front, excellent restaurant at back. we had breakfast and a three course menu del dia evening meal included so fantastic value! the town is an interesting place to explore as has a fascinating history, well worth a day and overnight. very Spanish atmosphere.

nobody spoke English! not a problem for me personally, but you need some basic phrases to get by, same in the town.

Restaurant food and service was fantastic. Hisoric family run business with eye for detail. extremely helpful staff.
