The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are tidy and very clean. The furniture is a little dated but well maintained. The breakfast is outstanding and exceeded all my expectations especially at the low rate. I would call it a largely extended continental breakfast, with fresh German bread rolls, danishes, fresh fruit salad, scrambled and cooked eggs, cheeses, charcuterie, cereals, jams, juices, freshly brewed coffee…just to name a few items. I would need to stay a week to try everything on offer. It’s located in the heart of Walldorf with shops, restaurants and the train station just a short walk away. I knew my barings as I visited my family. But everything is easy to be found. A gem of a typical German family run hotel. I can highly recommend it. Thanks for everything. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Everything.. the staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly. The location is great - a five minute walk to the Train Station, with regular trains into central Frankfurt. The room was very comfortable and clean (as is all the hotel). The price we got was incredibly good - definitely value for money. We really enjoyed the pool - clean and clear. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked good. Thank you to the staff for such a lovely place to stay. We travel a lot and this hotel is up there as one of the best we've stayed in.

A very clean and comfortable room, with a great location. Being so close to the airport it is exceptionally quiet. They offer fantastic continental breakfast with plenty to choose from. The decor is slightly old fashioned, but given the exceptional value for money, you could consider it charming. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance. We found a great Italian. If you're driving and are not 100% familiar with the rules, here's a tip: roads around the hotel are with a priority right over left. Drive safe.

It was clean, comfortable, and close to the Frankfurt-Main airport, making it very handy for catching my flight next day. I found a great little Greek restaurant nearby for supper and a bakery also, for a snack. Breakfast at the hotel was a nice buffet with everything you could want. Located in a nice little town, safe to wander round at night. Staff, friendly and helpful, so I would stay here again when flying from Frankfurt.

The room was very nice, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Very easy bus to Flugenhafen Terminal 1 (Route 67) in the morning was great, but taxi at night was expensive (40 Euros).

Communication could have been better. I needed to check in after 10 pm because my flight was delayed, and I tried to contact the property through booking.com messages, but was not successful in reaching anyone. I did not hear from the property until the day I was supposed to arrive that checking in after 10 pm needed to be arranged ahead of time. The hotel is in a nice quiet town, and had the owner not been waiting for me, it would have been a big problem. If you are late, be sure to phone - I think that would work better than trying to message through booking.com.

This hotel is very quaint, cozy, and clean and all you need for an overnight stay close to Frankfurt Airport. My single room was clean and bigger than I expected, including the bed. The owner's son was extremely friendly and helpful. He advised me of some good restaurants in the area and I settled on an excellent German one, S'Wirtshaus, about 10 minutes walk away, along two pleasant, mainly residential streets. The quaint bar in the hotel offers good beer and schnapps, as well as interesting Kukki cocktails. Although the bar normally closes at 10pm, the owner's son kept it open much longer to the delight of the guests enjoying a quiet drink and chat. The breakfast choice was plentiful and enjoyable. To get there, it was a fairly easy walk from Walldorf(Hess) train station, even with my two suitcases and there were no stairs to negotiate and the street to the hotel had hardly any traffic on it. From the same location the next morning it was also easy to get the local bus to Frankfurt Airport, although I did then have to catch the shuttle bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. I definitely look forward to coming back here again, hopefully next time with my wife.

There was nothing I could fault about this hotel. Unfortunately, my connecting train from Frankfurt Railway Station was extremely crowded when I arrived during peak hour. And the five minute walk from the Walldorf(Hess) train station with my two suitcases might have been more difficult had it been raining at the time.

Friendly, helpful staff that spoke good English. Clean, comfortable room with plenty of space, large bed & nice powerful shower. The location was great for Frankfurt Arena, only 20 minutes on the train. The swimming pool was a nice bonus.

€8.50 to use the sauna is a bit expensive but I guess those things are expensive to run these days

Fantastic location fantastic staff fantasic pool the owner and his daughter are as cool as they come.. the reception staff when I needed a fan sorted it out ... all in all a fantasic hotel and!!!! We were on our way home from a 16 day tour.... AMAZING..

Not 1 thing

I needed a place to stay on short notice at a good price and near to the airport. It wasn't as close to the airport as I thought but it worked well and was easy to reach the train from there. I was tired when I arrived but everything was very easy so I was able to relax straight away. Highly reccommend the near by pizza place.

When I went to check out there was no one at the desk, I wasn't in a huge rush but it was a bit worrying because I knew I had to catch the train. Someone came after about 10mins and check out was easy.

What a great hotel! Lots of space in the room, lots of lighting and outlets. Bed was comfortable, lots of counter space in the bathroom. They had a great assortment of food for their breakfast. It was in a quaint little neighborhood but easy to get to Frankfurt and the airport. The staff was so friendly.
