Clean room. I’m a stickler about having a clean room — especially when it’s a transient hotel and you’re not sure about what’s on people‘s bags or shoes (as in what is it beg bugs, etc). It was easy to find at the airport — and I had never been to the Frankfurt airport before. Most importantly, the manager, Marcel, went above and beyond and helping me out. When I booked online, I misread the hours I needed to stay. I needed a 8am to 8pm — and accidentally booked the opposite. I arrived at the hotel at 7 AM exhausted after a nine hour flight. I was worried the hotel would be booked up and I wouldn’t be able to stay. Marcel simply said with a smile, “let me see your passport and ticket — just give me everything.” he noticed my birthday was the next day. I mentioned I was turning 40 and traveling to South Africa. Not only did he secure my room for the day, after I woke up from my nap, I opened my door and found that he left two small bottles of sparking wine with a Happy 40th Birthday message. He took time out to do this and days later, I’m still touched and grateful for what Marcel did. If I stopped through Frankfurt again, I will definitely stay here. Above and beyond service by a very sweet gentleman.

Proximity to flight gate, hotel within airport terminal for international flight. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable and quiet.

The Frankfurt airport terminal 1 is huge, has multiple levels and multiple branches. The terminal signage is very poor, making it hard to easily find the hotel which is tucked away on a top floor. The elevator to the entrance is all the way to the back of one of the Z gate branches at gate Z25. The elevator is insured by a passenger gate that can be so crowed with people one has to pass through a vast sea of travelers wait to board a flight. Once your find the elevator all is fine. The hotel would do well in giving detailed step by step directions to gate Z25, because it is not easy to find from the lower levels of the Terninal.

The reception staff was great, our flight was diverted back to Frankfurt airport and they were very helpful. They also allowed us to check out later, since our rebooked and then delayed flight was at 3PM.

The space was quite small for 2 people, and the shower has a glass wall. It was also quite expensive but we didn’t have any other option in the transit area of Frankfurt airport.

It was a great room for a solo traveler. The room was just the right size. The bed was comfortable. It was also great that I could log into my Youtube account and Netflix account to watch something familiar. (I usually have the TV on for background sound when I am in a mew city). The free hot coffee and tea was much appreciated.

It was a bit expensive for the night and it was located at the end of Terminal Z which took a bit of time to find after arriving from the B terminal and taking the short shuttle train. I wish I knew about the 5 minute bus ride from Terminal B which would have cut down on the distance walked. Also at 7pm there were limited food options back at the Terminal Z so it might be helpful to have a food vending machine a the property.

The PERSONAL was PERFECT! Very polite, fluent in many languages, very helpful. Always ready to answer all your questions and always on the working place.

Well, the toilet and shower are directly in the room near the bed. You cannot make your things in private way. Like a bunker . No place to keep your things, windows cannot be opened, air conditioning works slowly.

Delighted/Surprised at availability of espresso maker, tea selections and water refilling station. Kinda funny -- our entire trip we stayed in 5-star properties like the St Regis Cairo, Ritz Carlton, Movinpick Amman. This hotel is very sparse and basic, but it's clean and exactly as advertised . . . and our ONLY option to avoid going through security again at oh-dark-hundred the next morning.

The notation that check in must be by 10pm. We raced like maniacs, only to find it's the SECURITY screening that closes at 10. We would've had time to stop at business class lounge but missed it -- and all available options for a drink or snack -- by going first to the hotel

After my international flight out of FRA was cancelled, it was a relief to find accommodations that saved having to leave airport and come back so early to get thru security and passport control for the Third time. I could immediately settle in my room and work on redoing all my travel plans disrupted by the cancelled flight.

Too expensive; not eligible for reimbursement from international airline that cancelled flight (not one of the free hotels offered by Lufthansa).

Location past security. No need to go through security again before going to one’s international flight. Free coffee and tea in the lobby area.

Lobby area was small and crowded. Sink in bathroom was too close to the mirror. Difficult to wash one’s face and brush one’s teeth without hitting one’s head against the mirror and without getting the floor wet.

Had to exit security to access the hotel. Disappointed in the prices: I paid more on Booking than I would have as a walk-up the day of our stay.

Having a place to stay inside the international departure corridor was ideal. The room was small but comfy and clean.

The only small drawback (as others have pointed out) was the silly design of the mirror and cupboard above the sink which almost blocked the sink, making it rather difficult to brush ones teeth!
