Perfect location with an incredible view! We fell in love as soon as we entered the room! Immediately wishing we were staying there longer. There were 2 huge windows with balcony access. The host was incredibly nice and helpful! We would absolutely stay here again!

Really good B&B. opened shutters to a great sea view. large room, high ceiling. Modern bathroom. 3rd floor, lift, good security, several keys to get in. Water, juice and snacks provided. Coffee machine. A bit tricky if you want tea. No milk provided. Good location for ferry and train station. You can see the ferry from the room. Wide promenade along the sea front, pedestrianised. Several restaurants in both directions from the B&B. Go up the side street to the main shopping street. Cathedral and "old" part within walking distance. Much quieter than Amalfi, Sorrento. Suggest use as base and take ferries. Very nice town.

Breakfast in cafe 4 blocks away. Tickets given for the breakfast. Standard 1 coffee, croissant and juice. Area to sit outside.

A lovely, light and spacious apartment in nice apartment building overlooking the sea. We had a balcony with two sets of double doors which was lovely to sit out and take in the views. A separate little table with chairs and a sofa. Walking distance to the historic centre, restaurants and the train station. Mario was great with communication and Alfonso very sweet who greeted us and gave us the keys and instructions. Breakfast was included at a Cafe a few minutes walk away and was very nice! We were very happy with our room and location.

This accommodation was excellent. It is a hotel style accommodation and provided us with drinks in the fridge a few snacks and sweets and tea and coffee. It was a very secure building and everything you needed was in the room. Breakfast was at a cafe nearby which was also very good and friendly. We were only there one night, which was a shame and if we ever returned to Salerno we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The only disappointing thing for us was we lost the view due to maintenance being done on the building. However, I will point out the owner made this clear to us as early as possible and we would have had the option to cancel if we wanted to. We understand it was out of his control but it was a shame.

Clean and bright room, fantastic view of the sea from the two small balconies (despite facade renovation works, which we were informed of after we booked but well before we stayed), very comprehensive check in instructions, nice supply of snacks and drinks included in the room, great selection of restaurants within walking distance (and similarly reasonable walking distance to the old town, train station, pedestrian shopping street, and more). Breakfast was a block or so away at a local cafe and of reasonably good quality (we were offered two drinks and a pastry for each person)

No luggage storage on site offered prior to check in (despite the host running late for check in) or after check out which is not only inconvenient and costly (the luggage storage place recommended to us was a couple of blocks away and costed 5 EUR per bag) but also felt very rigid and impersonal. For light sleepers, note that the apartment does face onto a very busy foreshore road, so there is a moderate amount of traffic noise at night. We unfortunately also encountered an army of mosquitoes during the night that we had trouble defending against!

Good location on the seafront with easy walking from the station and also into the old town. The information given by the owner's brother-in-law on arrival was very useful. This included train and ferry timetables.

The door to the apartment is definitely secure, resembling a walk in strong room door. The key operation is definitely awkward, so make sure you lock and unlock the door yourself in the presence of whoever meets you on your arrival.

Beautiful room is an old Salerno Building right on the seafront. The view from the window was stunning. The host Mario was perfect - he answered all the questions we asked. The room was cleaned every day and the fridge in the room was a bonus with a kettle and coffee machine. Complimentary drinks and water were very welcoming as well as snacks and sweets. The room had a large double bed and a pull out sofa bed which was super comfortable. There was plenty of storage for 3 ladies travelling together. The bathroom was lovely too. There is a lift which is needed the apartment is on the 3rd floor. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Nothing about the apartment. It is on a busy road but this wasn’t a problem for us but if your noise sensitive just take some earplugs.

Located close to the train station & ferry terminal. Fabulous view from the balcony over the sea & mountains. Room cleaned everyday. Good communication with Mario. Apartment felt secure.

Only negative was the noise from the busy road below which disrupted my sleep. Take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Super B&B, very kind and flexible host, and such a nice welcome. Unfortunately there was a scaffold in front of the building which distorted the view. But the host had written this to me beforehand while there was still time to cancel had I wanted to. Very nice cafe for the breakfast also, and water, coke, coffee/tea and snack in the room. Spacious room with great bed and safe building.

Staying at B&B di Mare e d'azzuro was an incredible experience! The view was absolutely stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Salerno. The boulevard right in front of the building adds a charming touch to the magical atmosphere of the place. We highly recommend this B&B. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making our stay even more pleasant. A special thank you for the gluten-free snacks and drinks – they were much appreciated!
