Great take front view and very comfortable beds. We were surprised that the hotel shares pool and restaurant facilities with the hotel next door. Although the pool was indoors, it was not heated, so the perfect way to cool down after a long hot day exploring the lake. The pool also included a spa/sauna area which was extremely relaxing. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

the hotel staff gave me a room on a high floor so I got a better lake view, which was quite stunning. It is located near to the famous street with local stalls selling food and souvenirs

the hotel does serve breakfast but it requires the guests to walk about 150meter to another hotel (which is also owned by the same group) to have breakfast. Also, there is no smart TV in the hotel so my little daughter couldn't watch Youtube and she was quite disappointed.

Plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet. It is served in an adjacent hotel from the same chain. Umbrellas are readily provided on both hotel exit doors. For dinner you have many possibilities around the corner from basic street food to more elaborate restaurants serving local specialties. We stayed 3 nights, could have added another 1 or 2 days for the many sights/activities around.

3 old slippers under the bed. Indoor swimming pool is also in the adjacent hotel and was very cold - not suitable for our 5yo.

location is quiet even next lanes are noisy crowded .easy walking to ropeway cable car station modern japaneses style toilet with bath tub nice view frim room(lake view)

breakfast is served at rich forrest hotel which has no elevator or slope way for wheelchair we have to climb up ten steps to hotel lobby and then climb down ten steps to breakfast room

The view from the room was superb. The balcony was huge and clean. The bathroom and bedroom were big and comfortable. The location was very good as it was near the walking streets, the place to rent paddles on the lake and the place to board ferries. Their other building nearby has heated swimming pools and onsen. The breakfast place there has a great view too.

Location was really good - short walk to all that Itathao had to offer and easy to get to on the tourist boat -most people are doing sightseeing trips but some do take suitcases on board, note that you have to stay on the boat from Shuishe as Itathao is the second stop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and included scrambled eggs which was a huge plus for me! I enjoyed the short walk up the road to breakfast, pleasant way to start the day

We arrived early and the room was not ready yet. We leave our luggages at the lobby and went for a boat ride to explore sun moon Lake. When we came back to the hotel, the room is ready and our luggages had been sent to the room (very happy with this service). Our room is on the 7th floor which is the highest floor. We booked Lake view room and the view from the room balcony is amazing. Room is clean and has all the basic necessity. Please note that the hotel is not directly in front of the lake, there is a shorter building in front and if your room is on lower floor, the lake view will be partially blocked by the building. Breakfast is served at the nearby hotel (richforest Hotel). Decent enough spread and quite typical of hotel breakfast in Taiwan (mostly local fares). There are other facilities at richforest Hotel that you can make use of but we did not try any so no comment on that. Excellent location with plenty of eateries + night Market nearby. Most shops started to close up around 7pm on weekdays. The Sun Moon lake ropeway that can take you to Formosa aboriginal village is 10 mins walk away. The hotel provide free coupon for bike rental but we did not make use of it since everything we need is within walking distance. We are very happy with this hotel and will consider staying here again when we visit Sun Moon Lake.

The lake view is partially blocked by the building in front. Our room is nearest to the lift and we can hear people talking when they passed by the room. The room can get cold if you leave the balcony door open and there is no heater in the room.

The room is clean and right size for my family member of 4-5 persons. The balcony is also great overseeing the Lake in the morning.

Check-out time was too early and not much of food option for breakfast.

Tony was great. He spend time to explain our transportation options. The dinner was great. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is right at the lake and very convenient to get bikes and water sports.
