Very friendly staff, great history, good location a short walk off the main street, customized/unique features and decor (John Wayne decor, saddles at reception, blankets in room, DND signs, handwritten notes), comfy bed, spacious King room, requests were taken care of right away, pool area, clean

Nothing, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality, cleanliness, and price point of less than $90 of this stay in Moab

The closeness to Arches National Park and the historic vibe of the place are the main bonuses of this place. The room was well kept and clean and we had a comfortable stay. We chose to eat by the side of the street watching the sunset and we also got some of the fun souvenirs in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering advice on how to best visit Arches National Park. Would definitely recommend this motel.

Water pressure in the toilet wasn't the best, and had to flush a couple of times. But it was a minor nuisance compared to the rest of the facilities.

Quaint retro style motel in a quiet location in Moab spacious rooms (we had a 2 bed room). Rooms were very clean and beds/pillows were comfortable. AC and Wi-Fi worked well. Pool was very clean and almost too warm in the Summer heat. Breakfast was great when everything was available and it was nice to be able to eat it at the pool area. Almost all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Great diner nearby for burgers and shakes and a 10 minute walk to the main street in Moab. Seemed like very good value for Moab.

One morning when we arrived at 850 for breakfast there were no croissants left and no hot water. The staff member had no interest in replenishing (sorry but boiled eggs and yoghurt isn’t what I call a breakfast). We ended up going into town to get a proper breakfast. Next morning there were different staff members in charge and there was an abundance of food and everything was topped up straight away. Except for cinnamon rolls - we only saw one the 3 days we had breakfast there. Guess you have to be there early to get one!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This nostalgic motel has personality. We had a ground floor room two doors down from the office and were pleasantly surprised at the minimal noise level the three days we were there. Either very considerate guests, good soundproofing or both. Warning: The cinnamon rolls are addictive! :-)

There was a kettle firepit burning outside the office the nights we were there, which is nice to sit around at night. But it's burning smell drifted into our room for a number of hours in the evening/night. If you would find that bothersome, it would be better to not have a room close to the office.

Even though we were next to the office, the room was quiet and private. Parking was always available right outside our door, and the air conditioner was adequate to our needs. Really enjoyed the pool on these hot summer days. We didn't avail ourselves of the free grab+go breakfast, but I did take some paper plates to use in our room. It was nice to be a bit off the beaten path. Nice to have plenty of space for suitcases, but a second chair in the room would be nice to have for two people.

I could hear other people in their bathrooms, adjacent to our bathroom. The toilet was so low to the ground!

The room was comfortable although a bit old fashioned. But it worked. You can access a little swimming pool, very well appreciated when you come back from the national parks with the heat ! I forgot some personal belongings in the room and the staff was very nice and shipped it to me (after a paiement of course) and I was very happy to get it back.

The bathroom looks very old but again, it works fine. The room and bathroom need a little upgrade but it is enough like that. The breakfast is not very good. You go to the office and get some simple stuff to go back to you room with.

Everything had that vintage gel and there's So many amenities! Pool, laundry, community fire pit with s'mores kits provided, grill out area, bike wash, retro fridge, near everything you'd need in town. Mountain views, absolutely fabulous and charming staff, breakfast cinnamon rolls were oddly crazy delicious; good coffee; room service options available; cute dogs around that have their own little area; trying to be eco friendly. The pillows were comfy and the showers' water pressure was everything! There were cute little details everywhere and we just really loved it.

Curtains don't hide the entire window and no shear curtain behind main ones so we could let the sunlight in but not everyone's eyes. TV remote didn't work and the beds had sunken in parts that caused us to wake up a tad achey. The upstairs had a kid running around all night which we could very clearly hear.

I had a great stay. The receptionist was very welcoming and made check-in easy and pleasant. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable night. Parking was hassle-free, with spaces right in front of the motel — very convenient if you’re arriving by car. One of the standout features was the cool aesthetic of the place. It had a vintage vibe that made it feel more thoughtful and put-together than your average roadside stop. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and visually appealing stay with friendly service. I’d definitely stay again.

All of the staff were very nice. The gentleman that started the fire every night for the complementary s'mores was very nice and I enjoyed visiting with him. I booked it because of the history of it because of John Wayne. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast croissants and the cinnamon rolls we're really good. Although we were on a well traveled road, the room was very quiet, and he could not hear any of The Other guests in their rooms around us. If we ever go back, I will stay there again.

There really wasn't much we didn't like. The room we had had two beds and it was a little tight , and there wasn't much room between the one bed and the bathroom, but other then that it was fine.
