i liked how central it was to everything i needed, i enjoyed the room space itself, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were lovely. i did have one meal there which was well cooked and tasty. it felt like a comfy local pub from home, i enjoyed the vibes.

room service wasn’t the most accessible process, the website said i should be able to order online via a me&u beacon (which my room didn’t have) so i was advised i’d need to call reception from my own phone (as obviously my room had no landline) to access room services. i have anxiety and don’t like calling (especially when i don’t have access to the menu readily, the room had no menu in it either.) i ended up using doordash to order meals as it was easier & more convenient for my anxiety, which was disappointing because i would’ve loved to support the Carlyle more but their process just didn’t work for me.

Really liked accomodation it was close to things very clean and loved that you could walk down stairs and have dinner was just a couple of things the windows in front lounge and kitchen wouldn’t close and having a 2 yr old was very noisy tried closing but couldn’t….my daughter snd myself and her 2yr stayed here we had the two bedroom app we cleaned up best we could as like leaving rooms tidy but no broom or vac but overall I was very happy would def stay again

Plenty of parking, nice staff, room was older style but immaculately clean, king bed was very comfortable, bedding was crisp and good towels. Price was exceptionally great value compared to most of the other places to stay in and around Hobart. The dining room area was large and comfortable, great menu, food was excellent and well priced. Extra discount if you’re staying in house /seniors discount.

Having just gotten out of hospital this was a welcome reprieve. The bed was big and oh so comfy. Nice clean room and bathroom. Quick wash check in and free drink voucher (although I didn’t use it).

My only complaint was that you could hear other guests in the hotel corridor. Someone was having a very loud conversation there at 11:30pm which was annoying but not the hotels fault. Again the noise in the morning of other guests leaving was loud.

Great family room. Met our needs well

The main light in bedroom was not working and maintenance were not available. But regardless there wasn’t any follow up until we followed it up. So communication would have helped. There was another light so we were not too worried but didn’t know what they were doing or if they attended to it or not.

Bed was super comfy, staff were friendly and quite helpful. Decent sized coffee cups in the room

Bathroom/toilet space rather cramped, pillows too firm for my comfort. The curtain didn't quite go all the way to each end of the window as some of the hooks had come undone. Did not appear to be getting power at the USB ports at the bedside

The location is very good and there are few tourist attractive locations nearby. Super markets and restaurants are in a couple of minutes drive away. It's a very nice and convenient place to stay anyone visiting to Hobart.

Keep some pkt of tissue in the kitchen and a broom and a dust pan.

No inside look for room 19, meaning young children can freely open the front door and escape as our young child did during our stay. Hot water takes quite a long time to warm up. But apart from those 2 small things, we were very happy with the accomodation

We noticed when then people next to us shower it was extremely loud and the next day our flood was wet

Was well equipped, great location for my requirements and being part of the Hotel was great to just walk down stairs for a meal after a long day driving

Maybe the carpet in the common areas could be upgraded - otherwise it was very clean
