Absolutely friendly, kind and super helpful staff ! Rooms are just from a countryside fairytale. Stylish furniture.

What we liked the most is the staff! Jamiller and her husband were the most helpful people we ever encountered in the WHOLE of Italy!! The accommodation is very far from the nearest bus stop so we had to ask the staff to take us to the bus stop or nearest grocery from time to time. Yes, best to go by car. We initially arranged to get international driving permits but it didn't arrive in time so we had to take public transport all the time. Anything we needed, they were sooo easy to talk to, it felt like home there. The accommodations were pretty and comfortable. The views are also nice. The food cooked by chef Sergio was also good.

The property is very remote - we chose it to be that way anyway, so I guess we cannot really complain about it. Haha! If you want to be away from the busy cities of Italy and just relax, this is the place to go. Just a comment though, the pool was really cold even when the temperature when we visited was around 28C at daytime! Hahaha. We never got to take a dip. Or, I actually did but, I went out 10 minutes after. Haha!

Our amazing experience at La Veronika started in the road that takes us to the hotel that was a real Tuscan style , surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and a scenery landscape. We had a warm reception from the host Jamiller that made us feel at home ! She made everything to make us feel comfortable! She prepared a delicious and unforgettable breakfast ! We were delighted by a very special yearly event “ Expo Chianti “ that happens in Greve Chianti , which was very close to the resort ! I definitely recommend La Veronika for who is searching for a good location at the heart of Chianti Classico and desires to feel at home and the same time have a real Tuscany experience . ( We miss Jamilller already !

I really liked the place and it's amenities. Nice comunal areas to read or chill with a glass of wine. The buildings have that old style design which makes it perfect for the Tuscany countryside experience. The staff was very welcoming and helpful both during checking, giving guidance for places to eat or do wine tasting in the area; and also during the breakfast serving the lady there was very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and have comfortable beds so sleep was fine. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, reading, etc. There is a honesty bar inside the reception building where you can help yourself with drinks and then pay at the check out, which is fine since there are no restaurants or bars at walking distance. There is a small wine factory nearby (5mins walking) where they offer a tour and wine tasting for around 30€/person, other than that you'd need to take the car for other places /activities. All in all it was a very good and enjoyable experience

The room I booked was not the one I received but the lady at the reception was understanding and showed me another room available which was still not the one I booked but which I liked better than the first one. So all in all it was ok.

Beautiful location, surrounded by Tuscan hills w/ vineyards and olive groves. Very peaceful and quiet, perfect spot to relax by a nice pool or one of many outdoor seating areas. The room was spacious and well equipped, spotless clean and made up everyday. The family who owns the place put a lot of lovely personal touches to each apartment (the house is divided into a few apartments, each w/ shared kitchen, dining and living area, and then an ensuite bedroom), incl. books in different languages, lovely paintings, pictures and more. It's an inviting, cosy space with all amenities you need, friendly and kind staff, lovely breakfast and more. You'll be just off Greve in Chianti with many restaurants and wine/olive tasting options in the area - spots like San Gimignano, Florence and Siena are a reasonable drive away.

The road leading to the house is a village road - it wasn't an issue for us, it's easy to get to by car but keep in mind: a) car only (no taxis and public transport too far), b) car with a higher suspension is a better option when you're considering rentals

Location is great and postcard worthy. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The room itself was clean, very big, comfortable and in traditional tuscany style (which we loved!). The gardens are lovely, with several places to sit down and relax. On our second day, we had a very private dinner in the garden, with a delicious 4-course meal. The pool was super clean. Overall, we really loved our stay!!

We were sad we had to leave, the place and staff is amazing.

If you want a country side Tuscany stay this is where you should go. We rented cars and it was easy to navigate to. The staff was friendly. The private dinners were off the charts. We ate dinner there 3 times. All dinners were different than what you could get at any restaurant. Close to many wineries. Breakfast was great! Beautiful views. We went with friends and had an apartment with 3 separate rooms inside. Stay here!!!

Lovely country retreat in a romantic setting on a vine-covered hill with large rooms, comfortable beds, a scenic pool and views across the Tuscan countryside. The staff were professional, polite and amenable even though we arrived later than planned - 100% would recommend.

A little too far from the nearest town to get anywhere by walking - you'll need a car - but we chose it specifically for the added isolation and privacy its hilltop position affords guests, so not a negative for us

Lovely b&b in Tuscany, close to many great vineyards (recommend altiero). charming place with more of a rustic look. clean. very friendly staff. we were here for our honey moon and because of a cancellation we got a free upgrade and a bottle of Prosecco when we arrived. would absolutely come back.

the pool had yet not opened (late May) but maybe it was because of all heavy rain they’ve had the previous week. also the bed was a bit hard for my taste. but seems to be a thing here in Italy.

Everything was so good. The house is old but renovated, rooms are decorated and furnished in 19th century style with some modern amenities like air-conditioning and bath. The gardens around are beautiful full of flowers and organized as small secluded spaces, the parking and pool are inside an olive tree orchard and the view is gorgeous. Beds are huge with high quality linen and very beautiful blankets. They do not have a restaurant there but we had the luck that a bigger group was having a special last night dinner so we were able to dine there under the vines enjoying the sunset. We'd love to return there again. The resort is located deeply in the hills and to reach it one has to drive 2-3 km on a non asphalted road. It is easy macadam and is charming and gives a sense of adventure which we liked too.
