The hospitality we received from staff at the Gateway hotel is unmatched. Mr Roy and his team at the restaurant and Mr Abbas and his team at the front office made our stay extremely comfortable. They were very considerate of the fact that we were travelling with 3 kids and made extra efforts to ensure comfort for the kids and us. The food was delicious and the buffet had a variety of dishes to cater to needs of both adults and children. Location of the hotel is excellent. Thanks team GATEWAY!

Location was superb. Had good time with family as it was my first visit. Very satisfied. Rooms look little old, little bit uplift is required. Room service was very good, service staff was polite. Reception of the guest can be improved.

Include breakfast as part of booking. Charging extra on top of room rent is high. In room, bar items - atleast some of them should be offered free. like chocolates etc. Hotel seems little expensive without any additional perks.

Tea bags/items need to be supplier regularly with room Cleaning.

The room met all my expectations. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom clean. The furnishings were beautiful and up to date in decor. A very fine room. The location by rk beach was very handy. It enabled us to take sunrise and sunset beach strolls. There is also a pretty amazing view of the beach from the courtyard. The swimming pool was beautiful. Wish there was service or drinks by the pool.

Food lacked quality. The breakfast spread was good - all kinds of south Indian tiffins, made to order dosa and omelettes, fruit juices, fruits, continental and also meat varieties. However none of it was tasty. I didn't look forward to eating here. Definitely cant say it was 5-star food.

Breakfast was excelent, bar tenders were excelent and very friendly , receptionist Srijan , wow what a person he is very smiling person and customer friendly and very transparent guy I give him stars ***** Thank you and will defenatly recommend my friends and will visit again.

I understand property is pretty old and can't expect more from it , it is what it is. Required swingnpool little depth.

The food for the breakfast could be improved

Breakfast was good. A staff by name Mary, was very efficient and helped as and when needed since I was traveling with my toddler. She was friendly and accommodative.

The location of the room I could just see the walls from the window of my room. I had asked if I could be shifted to a top floor. But that was not possible.

Situated right across the beach in one of the most happening places of Vizag. Facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly. I really liked the huge lawn in front of the restaurant from where u can watch the sea. Novotel may be a bigger hotel but I found the environment in Gateway better. Would recommend this place to all who want to have a luxurious stay in this beach City.

EXCEPTIONAL! The food spread was amazing to say the least. We were given welcome drinks and fruits when we arrived at the hotel. The checkin/checkout process was smooth as butter. I would like to specially thank Mr.Pydi Babu, Ms. Prachi and Mr. Srinivas from GAD (Gateway All Day) dining lounge for making us feel really comfortable. Mr. Gurnath Reddy, the inhouse magician was entertaining and we liked it a lot. Ms. Alex from front desk was very helpful too. All in all, gateway hotel has the best facilities and crew to go along with it. Highly recommend it for leisure/pleasure.
