This quiet hotel's location was fabulous: across the street from the most gorgeous home of Santander, one minute from the beach, two minutes from restaurants and eateries and frequent inexpensive buses to every part of central Santander, three minutes from the preserved beautiful white Baroque Casino area, and in walking distance from the downtown (via the reopened ancien tunnel). The daily cleaning staff was very industrious, impressive given the "apartment" status of the room. We have stayed in 7 other places in Santander, and each time there has been some modest noise, from buses and motorcycles. But, at this place, it was dead quiet at night (except for the occasional seagull) even with the windows facing the back and side of the hotel being wide open.

The noise of showers and toilets running, whether in the apartment, or another visitor's room, could be heard directly. Thankfully, other guests were quiet and respectful so, if some walling was a bit thin, this was never a problem.

Very spacious and clean, with a lot of storage space which is not always the case with short stay aparthotels.I will very likely stay again when visiting family in Santander, was a lovely place overall. The beach is 5 min away at a lazy pace.

Our room was at street level and one could feel a bit overlooked as the street is only a few meters away. No laundry facilities at the hotel, no dishwasher, cooking utensils were quite old and in need of replacement. No washing up liquid which of course you can buy in the supermarket 5 min away, but it is a nice thing to just have for the guests.

Brilliant hotel, we stayed with our 2 children, with the 2 beds, and sofa bed, that was easily enough space. The room had everything you could need, and the mini kitchen came in handy. The staff were always friendly and happy to help, we arrived earlier than the check-in to drop our bags for a bit, but the lady on reception gave us access to our room early which was great. The room was always spotless, and the cleaners did a great job. Great location as well.

Lovely quiet area. Easy walk down to beach. Nice bar around the corner and cafes in beach. Sandy beach close by. Good, clean accommodation. Buses nearby.

Too far out for easy access on foot to town centre. Windows high so felt a little shut in. Access to underground parking could be improved as it seemed to rely on staff spotting guests car before garage is opened. More suited to weekend stay or business trip, rather than holiday.

The apartment was great 😃 Very spacious, clean, comfortable. The location is fantastic. The bus station just in front (1, 2, 4 etc.). The hotel has a bar and on the ground floor, which is very convenient. Very good value for the money. Very nice balcony with sea view. How to get here from the airport: bus S4 until Estaciones / from Estaciones, bus number 4 to Plaza Italia.

Stayed here during my trip to Santander and was pleasantly surprised. The location is great — right by the historic casino and just a short walk to the beach and main spots. The room was surprisingly big, which is always a win. They do have their own parking, but I ended up finding free street parking nearby, so that worked out even better. Overall, solid choice if you’re looking for a comfy stay in a super convenient part of the city.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay - I had a lovely, light and spacious apartment with everything I needed. The location was perfect with amazing views, restaurants and shops closeby + still a walking distance from the city centre. The staff were friendly and all in all I felt like I received great value for the money.

Very minor points here like that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, no sharp knife in the kitchen and that I could hear my noisy neighbours at times. The internet connection could also be improved.

Very good location of the hotel, free car parking on the adjacent street. The room is crystal clean, everything works, the room is well-planned, it has everything you need for your stay.

The elevator control system was set up incorrectly. The elevator arrived at the top floor with passengers from the lower floor already, who were going up instead of down. During checkout, we had to skip several elevators and end up going down the stairs. But overall, it was not disappointing.

Alda con Carlos exceeded our expectations. Our apartment was clean (and cleaned daily), we had everything we needed, the staff was always ready to help with any inquiries. Location is great. Right by the beach and the Plaza de Italia. We have enjoyed our stay here.

We were on the top floor and it was quite warm in the evenings.

The place was spacious with a big bedroom and a nice living-room with a sofa bed, a television and a kitchen with a microwave and a hub. There was also a terrace of a decent size. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is great, just a minute away from Playa del Sardinero, the best beach in Santander. Within walking distance there are plenty of restaurants and bars, some of them with views to the beach. I will not hesitate to return to this hotel if I'm back to Santander. Excellent stay!
