The hotel was an older one, but great for 2 weary travelers. I really liked the clean and fresh smell when you went into the room, as well as the fresh smell of the sheets. No breakfast offered, but ok due to a McDonalds right next to it....got breakfast for on the road eating. Room size was great for us, and rarely heard any road noises for a first-floor room. The shower had good water pressure. Overall... it was great for an overnight layover while traveling.

I can't state anything negative... except the bathroom area was a bit small, but we don't need a large area to shower in.

The bed was very comfortable, super duper clean, TV had plenty of channels to choose from, A/C worked fantastic, parking was easy, and the price is unbeatable in the area.

It can be a little noisy since it’s close to a pretty busy road but it’s never unbearable. I had a staff member walk in unannounced one morning which startled me a little bit but I understand mistakes happen.

I only go to Augusta once a year but I always stay at West Bank Inn. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and an excellent value! No, it's not fancy but if you only need the basics presented superbly, this is the place for you. I also appreciate the Bibles in the room. I rarely see that any more.

The odor from the disinfectants was really strong when I arrived. I'm prone to migraines from strong odors but I didn't get one, fortunately!

I read the reviews, and they were right on point. It is an excellent place. The outside may not indicate this, but the room (205) was very clean, updated and with the most comfortable (totally unexpected) bed! The staff was accommodating. I was concerned about possible noise from the road, but we did not hear anything. The AC unit worked well - not super loud but also blocked any outside noise. There are plenty of places to eat and shop around the inn.

The person who works at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. The room had two chairs and a table which was nice for eating. Bed was comfortable. The vent in the bathroom wasn't covered in dust like I've seen at many hotels, so that was great!

The furniture is older and shows some wear and tear but overall the room felt like it was well kept. Air conditioner runs loudly.

Our room was very clean with no musty smell. The hotel is very close to several restaurants.

The free breakfast wasn’t much to brag about. Small sausage biscuits, cereal, yogurt. But the food was fresh and tasty. If you want a bigger breakfast, you can use the $40 you saved by staying here and eat at Cracker Barrel across the street.

Location was convenient. Close to the highway and amongst many stores, restaurants and bars. Staff was very nice. Price point was one of the lowest in the area and the facilities, though not perfect or new, were clean and in fine working order.

Its right next to a busy street and traffic could be heard in the evening. If you sleep during the day or have to turn in early, I'd consider that.

The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. The cable TV package, although low-def, had every DirecTV sports channel. The rooms are remodeled and very clean.

The walls are a little thin. There was also a slight trace of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room.

I liked everything about it. Friendly staff, quiet, peaceful, clean. The bed was really comfortable, not like some of the other hotels I have been booked in. Great place, highly recommend it for people traveling through. Close to the Interstate and a straight shot to my doctor's office.
