Modest and clean hotel on the port side edge of old town. Functioning bathroom, reliable aircon and strong wifi. Positive vibe of genuine hospitality with all staff being so very welcoming. Elegant time capsule lobby. Remember to look up at the magnificent art work on the lobby ceiling and mezzanine. Fantastic views to New Fort, ferry port and across to Albania. Taxi stand close by. We are at Mouragia Restaurant.

Enjoyed every single day staying here. This is a developing neighbourhood close to old town. What others have said as concerns should not prevent you from considering this property for your stay.

Perfect location for an evening in Corfu old town followed by a next morning boat crossing from the port to Paxos island. After stepping outside the airport we immediately got a taxi at we’re at the hotel inside 20 minutes. 24 Euros. The hotel and room is very basic and having read some of the previous reviews I almost cancelled it in favour of something more upmarket. But I’m very glad that I didn’t. We were only staying one short evening and night before going to Paxos on the 9am crossing so this was perfect for what we wanted. The room was clean and tidy and the bedding crisp and clean. Pillows and mattress were comfortable and the air-con fantastic. The bathroom was clean and a good refreshing shower. I chose a room with a balcony and stunning view of the harbour (room 305). We sat on the little balcony and drank rosé while listening to the Greek music coming from a little restaurant down the street. A 5 minute walk takes you into the centre of Corfu old town with all of its fantastic restaurants. It is a 15 minute walk to the ferry port where our boat was leaving from and we arrived fresh after a most comfortable night and a bracing shower. We will definitely stay at The City Marina overnight on our next visit to Paxos and I would recommend it to anyone making the same trip. Thank you from Angie & James

Location of hotel is amazing with views over the sea and of the new fortess and also the hustle and bustle of local life going on down on the road below (which doesn’t interupt sleep!) photo attatched shows balcony at sunset. Very very clean rooms, constantly replenishing towles and toilettries. Friendly cleaners and reception staff. We asked for 2 extra pillows and an iron and this was swiftly organised for us. Free wifi in all the whole room and reception area

With the age and traditional style of the hotel the only thing I would say is the lighting in the corridors is quite dim with no natural light so on an evening it seems very dark.

The location was excellent, close to the old town of Corfu, easy to find the Hotel. Booking in was straight forward and the hotel staff were friendly. The hotel is basic so probably not that ideal and cost effective for a long stay, but it was perfect for us because we only needed to stay for one night at the start of our holiday and one night at the end as we travelled onto Paxos. The air conditioner worked well which is really important for a good nights rest.

On the our return journey we stayed in a family room. The room was perfect for us and our teenage kids but the shower head in the bathroom could not be attached to the wall shower unit as the bracket was broken. We found it inconvenient to shower with the head held in our hand as the shower is quite powerful. I did not have time to mention it on my check out. I would have if we had stayed more than one night.

Everything - the location could not have been better, the hotel staff were friendly and really helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the fortress and the harbor was the perfect place to relax when I tired of wandering in the town. This hotel is about as perfect as it gets.

Right on the main Corfu Town Marina. We booked a room for the 3 of us and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were very basic, but clean, the shower worked and the staff did what we asked. ie booked us a taxi at 0430 in the morning. Well located for exploring Corfu town, not the height of luxuary but if you need a clean room with a comfy bed at at a good price give it a try.

Loved the location, balcony, view and 24/7 lobby service. The family room was spacious and comfortable.

You can tell that this hotel might have been one of the best in Kerkyra/Corfu 50 years ago, but it no longer holds that status. It’s not ideal for long stays, and the small fridge was not working. However, for a short stay I would choose it again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous location, so close to the town centre, the monasteries and walking distance to the old port and even to the airport. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. And the cleaning staff did a superb job.

The hotel is quite outdated but well maintained.

Location is amazing! The rooms have air conditioning which was excellent. We made a last minute booking due to flight cancellation and the receptionist was so good about booking us a taxi for 3.30am!! and printing the full invoice so we could get reimbursed by the airline. Great service :)
