The setting is stunning. The hike up the river with all the swimming holes is 5 star. Unforgettable!!! The staff are helpfull and friendly.
The plumbing in the room (01) was dodgy. The wash basin sounded like an African hoopoe calling every ten seconds all day and night. The shower had no hot or cold marks on the taps, and required the skill of a watch smith to get the temperature right. Hercules needed to close them to stop them dripping. The air conditioner confided in me that it hated its job, and it really wanted to be a food processer, so that it can only work for a few seconds a day. The daily grind is too much for it.

The rooms are clean and tidy but they are cold since its winter. There should be new heaters or air cons so that in winter the rooms can be more warmer. The company must buy dstv because we cant watch SABC and Etv only. The appliances must be changed Breakfast is lovely and delicious and the staff is more accommodating they have good hospitality. overall it was good to be there.
The fact that there is no heater the oil heater does not make the room warm and there is no DSTV you are forced to watch Etv or SABC.

I really loved the friendliness of the staff, beautiful garden cabin with a comfy bed and lots of natural light coming in from the large, tall windows. The breakfast and dinner buffets were also very good, the food was always delicious.
When booking the cabin, the list of what was included said crockery and cutlery, but we had to ask the restaurant for that. The single bed mattresses in the loft area were too soft as one can feel the bed frame through them. The single bad mattress on the bottom floor was much better.

Beautiful setting - the tranquility and serenity sets in as soon as you turn off the main road. It’s also perfectly close to Stormsriver Village and Reserve, which make for great short trips. Great staff, beautiful trails on site, amazing food served at the restaurant and each cabin having its own private outside area is a very nice touch. We also very much enjoyed having a spa experience without having to leave the lodge.
A little outdated, the furniture and bathrooms in the cabins could do with an upgrade and the wifi doesn’t work too well. Although it does add to the rustic charm of a place tucked away in the mountains.

We stayed for 2 days in this idyllic, peaceful setting. Being surrounded by nature and awaking to the song of birds was mesmerizing. The staff are helpful and friendly to assist with all needs - I especially appreciated the porter who assisted with luggage to and from your parked vehicle. Breakfast was delicious 😋 The Gardenette Lodge has the best views and is closer to the walking trails. The Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spa on the Garden Route is truly a hidden gem in South Africa.
The rooms can get dark when curtains are closed. Perhaps include a feature to enhance the natural light.

A very beautiful and peaceful spot to escape busy city life. We were greeted with warm smiles and had a fantastic stay as the staff treated us with so much kindness and were extremely helpful with any of our needs. Our compliments to the chef and breakfast team as they went out of their way to accommodate us. Loved how close the lodge was to the Tsitsikamma National Park and stargazing at night from our cabin was just incredibly gorgeous!

Nice small cottages in a beautiful place with very friendly staff. The diner and breakfast were oke, even for vegetarians.
We wanted to braai at our own cottage. But there was nothing to prepare our dinner with. No cuttlery, no plates, no bowls, no cutting knives… nothing. When we asked for something at the reception the only things they gave us were plates and cuttlery to eat with. I wanted to use the spa for a massage. But they close at 17h. Little strange because offcourse you would be out all day to hike and enjoy Tsitsikamma.

It was a lovely place to stay. The lodges are well appointed and comfortable. It was great for an over night stop. I would happily stay there again. Would probably ask for one of the cabins away from the road though.
We had 2 cabins that were quite close to the road so there was road noise. But would just ask for a different cabin next time. Could probably do with a little maintenance just to tighten fittings up and check everything works as it should

I like how friendly the staff and all the guests were. Went out of their way to make us have a great experience. Dinner was amazing and the massage we had was just what we needed. Breakfast was something else the variety we had to choose from. Cabin was clean and the spa bath and fire place was just what we needed on the cold night. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to all the ladies and gents for making our stay a memorable one. It was my birthday weekend and they made me feel very special with singing to me and making me a cupcake and giving me a chocolate. Thanks 😊
That we only stayed one night. Should of been a longer stay.

Beautiful plants and surroundings. Good service at the restaurant. You can make your own BBQ as well, they give you wood and equipment if needed. Next to the national park very good location. Laundry service was really cheap and good.
Dinner at the buffet left much to be desired. I don’t recommend eating there, better to go to other restaurants in the area. Also the bathroom had some tiles coming off, hotel needs a bit of tiding up in my opinion.
