We asked for late check in and were oblidged, THANK YOU! On arrival, our hostess was energised and gave us a tour of our accommodation with absolute flair, shared very reassuring information about the area and we had a beautiful nights rest. The beds are comfortable, there are sufficient plugs for charging (albeit some far from a night stand) and the room is absolutely CLEAN. I am a barefoot walker, it cools my feet especially after that 11hr drive. Breakfast was delicious, I am not a big breakfast person but the eggs were done well and the bacon nice and crispy. That coffee is still can smell the aroma, it was gooooood! Bottle it and let's have it on the Otter Trail with the slackpacks and food drops. The garden outside the dining area is a thing of beauty with the mountains in the background. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I know that the coastal part of our country is safe in so far as aggressive/contact crime however, we still have a chance of traveling peeping Toms. I love natural light in the morning but couldn't open the curtains because there was no lace curtain (at least) or a kind of film that blocks outside lookers to see inside.

Pretty much everything. The rooms were big, spacious, and very tidy. The breakfast was also good. The hosts were friendly, and we enjoyed our overnight stay.

The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the water temperature fluctuated; if you open the hot water tap in the basin, the shower water gets ice cold. Even when the basin tap is left alone, it does fluctuate...I'm guessing when the other units use the water, it affects the other unit.

Very friendly staff and a special welcome from Wilmien. The breakfast was just exceptional and once again a special effort from the Chef, coming out from the kitchen to the dining area to have a short chat. Value for money once again exceptional in my opinion. Keep up the good work team.

No dislikes but some kind of protection from the parking area to the rooms when it rains can be beneficial in future, we all know the Tsitsikamma region is like a baby, more wet than dry. The revamped reception will be great when finished.

Cozy accomodation situated nicely in the forest. Hosts were very forthcoming, let us check in early and offered great advice on what to do in the Tsitsikama National Park. Dinner and breakfast at the lodge were great and authentic. A great base to explore Stormsrivier and the Tsitsikama National Park!

Bathroom facilities are decent but slightly outdated. There was no fast Wifi available, though hosts told us it would be installed soon.

The host was extremely accommodating and immediately made us feel welcomed. Prior to our arrival the room was prepared for a warm and inviting stay. The breakfast the next morning was excellent and the staff made us feel like our every whim was catered for.

While the size of the rooms were completely adequate, layout of the facilities felt very close to one another, So, while our time there was spent with very few other guests and no neighbors, I can imagine that having other guests staying either side of you would perhaps feel imposing and somewhat intrusive. However, as I said, I have no evidence that this is the case as we stayed there during a very quiet part of the season with only 4 other guests in total on the premises.

Very nice hosts, super breakfast, cosy rooms with good beds. It was a good relaxing 3- nights stay, thanks very much.

There was no Internet available, however obviously due to wheather reasons. But I- Net is not always of priority.....particular not in the beautiful Tsitsikama area.

Room was basic but comfortable (tea and coffee facilities, but no fridge). Parking on site. Very safe town even at night, Load shedding was not an issue while we were there (lights remained on). Breakfast was exceptional and by far the best we had on our trip with lots of home made options. Dinner was also very good. Easy walk to the main street (5 min).

WiFi wasn't very strong, but acceptable.

Lovely location in the forest with restaurants within easy walking distance. Great value for money. Very nice breakfast, easy parking. Staff all very friendly and helpful

Dinner in the Restaurant had to be pre-ordered before 2pm but I was not sent the menu until after I had left my previous hotel so I was not able to access this in time. It wasn't a major problem as there were other restaurants within walking distance but it would have been nice to have the option of dining at the hotel. Maybe the menu coul;d be sent out a bit earlier, ie the night before?

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they offered so much advice and couldn't have been more friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the gardens and outside spaces are stunning.

An extremely well kept garden...beautiful! Gardeners are very proud of their handiwork. Delicious breakfast with unlimited options. Kitchen staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely shower with hot water. Pristine swimming pool.

A bigger fridge and a proper surface for kettle would make things easier.
