The property has everything you need and is a few minutes walk from the beach and the excellent Blue Rocks Cafe (great mussels and cocktails). The property is set among the trees in the wonderfully peaceful Nature's Valley. At night you can hear the sea from the property. Ilse is wonderfully friendly and generous with her time to give recommendations for the surrounding area, talk about her paintings etc. The local walks are great fun. There's a remote, off-grid feel to Nature's Valley, but it's not far from the main road and lots of things to visit for day trips. The sunrises and sunsets on the beach are stunning.

A wonderfully situated property. On arrival our host gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment was beautifully appointed and every effort had been made to make one feel comfortable and not encroached upon. The proximity to the beach was perfect and there are some wonderful walks available in this area. Ilse and her husband are very caring and thoughtful. You could not wish for more in terms of hosts and a wonderful property to stay. The Blue Rocks Restaurant is 2 mins away and a great place for all meals. The adjacent store is very limited in what is sold so it is a good idea to stock up before getting to Natures Valley

We have spent great 3 days in Nature's valley and could stay longer: the area offers a lot to explore - from Salt River and Tzitzikami hikes, to the ocean beach as well as excellent Groot River beach with warm shallow waters - perfect for children. The flat is very large, very clean, decorated with a taste and has private entrance and a terrace. Thank you, Ilse, for this experience!

Nature's valley is a very small village with only one restaurant and one shop that has short open hours. If one check-in late - make sure you do the necessary shopping upfront.

Nice property, Close to the beach and a nice lookout trail. Clean rooms. Helpful owners , Very good if you want a nice peaceful break.

Not a criticism of the property, but the only restaurant in the area closed 3 hours in advance of normal as they had limited business apparently - so we needed to travel more than 30 minutes in the dark which is not advised ,

Excellent stay in a beautiful location. The property was comfortable, beautifully decorated with good facilities. Ilse was very helpful and went out of her way to accommodate an early check in. We were very close to the beach and within driving distance of Plettenburg. The local restaurant, The Blue Rocks served excellent food and the staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely stay in a quiet and peaceful location.

The house is in a very quiet and beautiful place. There is a magnificent beach 2 min. walk away. Also- there is a small grocery store and a nice restaurant right next door. The salt river hike is right from your doorstep🙂. The area is quiet and feels very safe to walk in. We stayed at the luxury apartment. It's upstairs. Has a great balcony. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of warm water. We had netflix to see movies at night. The heated blankets were great. Overall good facilities. We really recommend this place! We arrived on a very very cold day. The heating in the living room was not really enough. But there were good blankets to help us. There is a real electricity issue in the area. It took us time to understand you can't use all electrical appliances all at once. Once you understand how it works- it's ok. I'm assuming that on warmer days the place is perfect- but we were a bit cold.

What a lovely house, just like the photos, beautiful view, close to the beach and shop. Friendly and helpful host, Ilse was always willing to assist us. Internet was good. Beautiful garden. The Knysna loerie visited the balcony every day and was given apple and grape treats. Loved the balcony, so peaceful.

The perfect place to rest after a busy day of exploring. Ilse was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The apartment was really spacious and a nice place to unwind at night. The second bedroom came in really handy when my partner felt unwell with a cold, meaning we both got a good nights sleep. The restaurant around the corner was great and we enjoyed eating here both nights and I really liked Ilse's artwork around the apartment.

Great location in the middle of natures valley right next to the shops and awesome hiking trails. Its self catering but we had towels and so many extras like a nice tv, cutlery ect. Great spot!

Everything - amazing lovely house - more room than we needed - but lovely to be in a home, not a room. The kitchen was well stocked and I enjoyed cooking yummy lamb chops from the farm shop entering Nature.s Valley - great food there to take home and enjoy.
