Modern, beautiful views ( pity about the ongoing construction of residential houses in front of the hotel) Food good, especially breakfast. Turndown included a traditional South African sweet treat. Departure gift was appreciated. Gym was well appointed and clean

Being in a residential estate leads to a lack of privacy and “ holiday feeling”. Outside speakers played music till very late in the evening. Being charged for water at breakfast!, and when complaining was told we have water in our room we could use!? Design of foyer allows quite a bit of noise to travel into the rooms.

Absolutely everything!! The friendly staff, the view, comfortable bed, the shower with a view of the bay, the food was delicious, the different areas to relax and have a drink. I loved the unexpected treats like a welcome drink upon arrival and the surprise mini dessert along with water that was brought to our room right when I was preparing myself a cup of tea.. what a delight that was. I would highly recommend this place, it's very relaxing, loved the artwork along with the pool and garden area as well. The staff definitely needs to take credit as well, they made our stay here even more special. Thank you very much!! We will definitely be back again.

That we only booked it for 2 days. I would love to stay longer but we are moving along the Garden Route.

We loved the "Sweet Dreams" note every evening from housekeepers Thembi and Megan, accompanied by a delightful surprise, such as a Koeksister, along with a fun fact before bedtime explaining more about this traditional Afrikaner confectionery. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast (included in our rate), and dinner was exquisite. The staff provided impeccable service, meticulously understanding the intricacies of the kitchen and food preparation. They were always smiling and eager to assist or please. Parking was ample, and the overall experience exuded safety and perfection.

I was unaware that the hotel had a spa, and regrettably, I was unable to utilize it due to its full schedule.

Amazing hotel. Really clean and comfortable, fab shower, stunning views and nicely decorated. Great breakfast with lots of choice and dinner in the restaurant was good too. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pools due to the weather but they looked great as well with lots of lovely sculptures.

Service in the restaurant at dinner was not good and service at breakfast could have been better too. After reading other reviews we were hoping for something special to mark our honeymoon but this wasn't acknowledged. Not the hotel's fault but there were a lot of noisy children running around so it wasn't very relaxing, just something to bear in mind.

The location of Sky Villa is spectacular with breathtaking views over lagoon and ocean. The hotel is spacious with spectaculair paintings and bronze sculptures. There are plenty of shady places to sit when wanting to shield from rain or sun. And of course the two swimming pools are very inviting for regular swims.

Windows of our bedroom and bathroom overlooked the car park - had to have the blinds down all the time otherwise getting dressed, sitting on the toilet or showering was not possible. Holding an event and not informing guests they couldn’t use the restaurant wasn’t good, if we had known we may have gone elsewhere- you need to handle that better

Immaculate hotel well appointed upgraded room to the main hotel as opposed to the annex we had booked which was a lovely surprise. Fantastic views over Plettenberg bay and the bonus of watching the whales and beautiful sunrises. Comfortable bed and well decorated throughout the hotel with amazing garden sculptures. Excellent food with fab views in the restaurant and very welcoming and friendly staff. We will be back!

Nothing it was all perfect!

- The view is stunning. It is all about the view! - Lots of parking space available. - Safe. - The heating floor in the bathroom is amazing and now I want one at home - Fairly equipped gym.

- Staff are cold and not at all helpful. It was stormy rain during our stay, never once that they offer to walk us to the car or to the gym with umbrella or even care to help with luggage both arrival and departure. - Service at the breakfast was not good. We recieved wrong order even after repeat it twice. We have breakfast included but the staff kept telling us to eat from the cold buffet first and if we were not full then we can order the hot dish. - Gym is quite equipped with complimentary water but no fresh towel. - Light at the room acting crazy after the load shredding. - They don't run generator at night so you would still notice the load shredding.

The decor and views from every area were amazing. The crackling fireplaces made the whole place so cozy even on those extremely cold Plett days. Food is exceptional! The staff pay attention to detail and make your experience feel very personalized. They are willing to assist with anything to make your stay more comfortable. Luxury at its best. Would definitely recommend this one.

That I only had 2 nights here! Nothing was bad!

The stuff was very welcoming and professional, the lady at the reception with braids,dark skinned and with a bit of lisp took good care of us from the minute we stepped into the premises, I remember we wanted to go check somewhere else because we felt it was too expensive , she convinced us to stay and convinced us that it was good value for money and we ended up booking and boy we don’t regret booking at sky villa, everything was perfect. The views are amazing, the restaurant is so classy and beautiful with beautiful views OMG The food was amazing from breakfast to dinner Everything was perfect , we loved it and we will definitely come back😘

The TV downstairs in the lounge was only playing 1 channel but the one in the room was fine. The front part of the hotel when you’re arriving was not as beautiful as the side with the pool , the grass was too long and all over the place so it almost gave us a wrong impression of the hotel, we asked for the loo and thats when we got to see the beauty of the hotel. We saw the guy cutting the grass on the side with the swimming pool maybe next time they should start cutting in the front
