Our host Ben was wonderful, he gave us all the great tips how to organize our three days at Plettenberg. Highlight was clearly our hike on the Robberg (stunning views) and the day in the Tsitsikamma NP. Breakfast was great with eggs made to order, very nice individual fruits platter. The location versus the only beach (at the laguna) where one can swim (no waves).

Room was comfortable but rather small to put our suitcases.

Thanda Vista really does surprise! From the ease of access off the N2 to its subusban locality, one short block from the lagoon and the well appointed interiors it is a delight. Our hos Ben Moolman was a hive of information, charming and thoroughly welcoming making us fee at home immediately. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms were more than adequate so our three night stay was a pleasure. The breakfast included in the rate was served in an elegant first floor room with large windows bringing the view of the lagoon right into the room. And as for the breakfast itself - well we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of what was on offer. Set out for instant access are the coffee, tea and juice choices with full Continental breakfast items - muffins, toast, cheeses , cold meats - all available for self service. The tables are set with individual fruit platters with plentifu variety and Ben will take orders for full hot breakfasts which is promptly served. Breakfast here is a delicious must and is a solid energy start to energetic exploring days of the area. A top star rated bed and breakfast facility in this popular sea side resort.

We cannot say anything was not to our satisfaction - i believe that would be nit picking.

Excellent location for exploring the area. Very good hosts Ben and his dog Aero. Maggie made us the best breakfast while we were on the Garden Route. Ben made good suggestions for dining out and places to visit. The property felt safe and had convenient parking. It was quiet but don't think there were any other guests that night. Had a back-up system to deal with load shedding. Good-size bathroom with nice shower.

The room was a bit on the small side (even though it had a spacious bathroom). We had 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double bed.

We stayed at a little paradise and were spoilt by wonderful hosts in every regard. We've never experienced such an excellent breakfast inter alia the variety of fruit. A place to return again and again.

We appreciated everything. Hence we liked everything.

Thanda Vista is exceptional. The rooms are spacious, light, beautifully decorated and spotless. They have everything you'd need with attention to detail. We were travelling as a family, so had three rooms. Breakfast was superb, with views over the lagoon and sea and caters to everyone's preference with added extras. Ben is a gracious and generous host, who makes you feel at home instantly. By the time we left, we felt like good friends. The staff are friendly and completely trustworthy. My husband had by mistake dropped money into the trash bin in our room when throwing something away and they handed it back to us! The location is excellent... a quiet neighbourhood, but within walking distance to the shops and the beach. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Huge thanks to Ben and staff for an outstanding stay. We will definitely be back.
