The secure and convenient parking made everything so much easier, especially in such a prime spot. Being just steps away from great restaurants and the beach was a huge plus. The strong Wi-Fi signal in room 7 was another highlight, keeping us connected throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast and excellent service added so much value, making the experience feel like an unbeatable deal. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills accommodation that prioritizes location and value, this is definitely the place to stay. Everything about it made our visit memorable and enjoyable! We had a warm welcome from Amos. The location was perfect, with such easy access to the beach. It was spotlessly clean, with secure parking and really nice layout of the property with great views from the large terrace.

All small things that would’ve improved our experience: As a party of five in a three bed apartment we could’ve used an extra key. We didn’t find any washing up liquid or cloths, nor soap provided in the bathrooms. And we would have loved a couple of sun loungers on the terrace.

The location is perfect. You are steps away from the beach and some fantastic dining, like the Fat Fish. You are 15-min. (uphill) walk to the center of town. We stayed in Unit 1, a 2-bedroom apartment. We had an incredible view of the beach and Beacon Island hotel at sunset. The unit has A/C, a washing machine and full kitchen. It's perfect for the self-catering family. The primary bedroom has a bathtub and shower.

The only thing keeping it from a 5-star review is that you cannot open the windows on the back of the unit without getting the exhaust intake from the restaurants. But we would come back in a heart beat.

For what we were doing, we felt this hotel was in a great location; it's where all the tour operators are for the boat tours and it's practically on the beach where the boats launch. It was our preferred choice but had to stay elsewhere for a couple of nights as someone beat me to it as I was pulling up! Anyway, room was very comfortable, good bathroom with decent shower. Lots of little shelves put in on wall for guests which we found handy. Room was clean and we slept well and I believe their generator powers the ac as well during load-shedding (in other places, they do not). Free tea/coffee facilities in the lounge/breakfast area (it's bean to cup). Breakfast was a combination of a la carte and buffet continental with freshly baked croissants. The property has a gated carpark which was great for us and nearby there were a few restaurants and bars which we enjoyed. Overall a fantastic stay and exceptional value for money.

Location, right at the Central Beach, easy for joining marine ecotours downstairs. I have to commend them for their flexibility during the pandemic when there was no flights for me to go there. After communicating with them, they refunded me and so now I can come and indeed come back! Breakfast /cleaning ladies are lovely and the reception staff are both very nice.

Breakfast was super. Staff were awesome. Rooms so comfortable especially the Ebony and Ivory rooms! Although you pay a premium for those of course. Location is brilliant.

In summer they must provide all beds with a top sheet and a light-weight throw blanket. Duvets too hot in summer! It would be great if they could somehow provide a laundry service.

I would have liked to have been made aware that a complimentary breakfast would be offered prior to arriving at the accommodation. All my students were not able to be accommodated and had to booked in at another location with the schedule for the days planned from before 8am in the morning. After the students (not me) were informed of the breakfast option they insisted on having that every day which completely messed up the group's schedule. The students who were not offered the breakfast at the place that they were staying was also annoyed that they were not offered something similar

The location was right across from the beach. Don't need to take a car anywhere as there are shops and restaurants right below the accommodation and you just walk through the beach parking lot onto the beach. We were very happy! There was a continental breakfast, and you could order up a hot breakfast as well which was a bonus, and also an honesty fridge for drinks etc in the evening! My unit had a full self catering kitchen which was fabulous, everything we needed!

The sound proofing is not the best and it was very noisy in the evening when guests came back. The portable aircon was too noisy to use in the room.

Waaauuuw!!! One of the best stays we had in South Africa. Very very very friendly staff. Very clean and comfy room with good beds. Delicious breakfast with view on the sea. You can park your car safely behind fances. Nothing is too much for this staff. They will always help you. This is absoluty a 10/10 !!

Very convenient location with a short walk to multiple restaurants. Room super neat and tidy and breakfast was fantastic ! Staff very professional

Nothing really to complain about. Perhaps just undercover parking would be better! It had rained the night before and my car was filthy from the trees overhanging the parking area.
