Would love to come back to the hotel next time I am in Bordeaux. The service at the hotel was wonderful, all of the staff were very professional and friendly, and were happy to help us book restaurants, etc. The individual room I was in was very nicely and thoughtfully appointed. We appreciated the fullsize Nuxe toiletries (no need to bring shampoo/cream/shower gel/handwash if you like the Nuxe brand) and that the minibar was included in the price of the room and included multiple bottles of water/nonalcoholic drinks/snacks/fresh fruit, which is incredibly convenient when you arrive after long travel. It was also really nice to have a heated outdoor pool with towels provided, etc. The breakfast was delicious and good quality. The hotel location was great, only about 10-15 min walk to the main shopping street. The hotel itself is tucked away in a close by residential area and it's very quiet. However, it is not in the immediate center, so if you have mobility issues, or you easily get tired walking, you might want to think about this. Also, some of the duplex suites in the second building have stairs so you might want to request a ground floor suite. The main hotel building has a lift all the way to the street level.

We stayed in one of the duplex suites for some of our stay and compared to the individual rooms the suite was a little more dated and the sleeper sofa was not too comfortable for my friend (the two bathrooms looked brand new.) It would have been nice to have a dark curtain over the glass staircase partition on the top level - when someone had the lights on at the bottom, the light would also light up the top level, so we had to coordinate the lighting in order to sleep on the top, or wear a face mask.

The staff at this property go above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The room is spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat. Breakfast is delicious and satisfying, and the charming little bar is perfect for enjoying drinks in the evening. We definitely felt well taken care of during our stay!

While the property is located a bit farther from the vibrant heart of Bordeaux, this small inconvenience didn't overshadow our overall experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the unique charm the property offered.

Staff were very welcoming, courteous and helpful throughout the visit. The suite was comfortable and we appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini bar. The room was well-serviced. Breakfast was excellent. Location was an easy 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. Good wi-fi.

Just small details. Two of the internal doors in the room did not shut properly. The private jacuzzi temperature was low and it was not obvious how to adjust it (staff fixed it promptly on request). Parking could be free for guests who are already paying a premium for a suite.

The room was large and very comfortable it was also vey well appointed. The location was good, but in retrospect, perhaps a little further from the city centre than would have been ideal, since my wife walks with a stick. The breakfast was perfect - good choice and excellent service. The staff, especially in Reception were extremely helpfull.

Nothing really! The only slight problem we had was intrusive music with a strong base one late afternoon and evening (until 10 pm) which interfered with my wife trying to settle.

Excellent, helpful, cheery staff. Large, comfortable room with lounge area, mini bar inclusions, bath, great bathroom products (no hair conditioner though), turn down service with little treat, peaceful garden & lovely pool area, onsite spa & highly recommend the massages, renown onsite restaurant (although we didn’t eat there).

High season & last minute booking but was still quite expensive, then the add ons not included-breakfast, parking,spa. Quiet area but a reasonable walk to the main attractions, which we enjoyed but not for everyone.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. They made an effort when they realised it was my partner’s birthday placing balloons and cake in our room. There was a bottle of wine in our room on arrival, some fruit and candles which made us feel very welcome. There was also a fridge so we could have our own wine or fresh milk. The room was very well sij proofed and quiet and beds very comfortable so we slept very well.

Very much enjoyed the breakfast in our room on one morning though it was expensive. The room was expensive for three nights out of season but overall the standard of accommodation and the jacuzzi on the terrace were worth the money.

Classy premises, staff was very nice

Room had a tiny window although pics implied more windows. Included outdoor pool was closed for the season. Only extra fee indoor pool available. Fitness room could use more equipment. Only one old school key offered out of the gate, lenghty check-in, charged taxes at check out instead of at check-in, were not recognizing us when returning to our room after an outing. Staff was extremely nice and professional but not always super effective.

amazing place, would stay again

our only gripe was they offered an airport pickup and said it was €90. it’s a 25 minute journey and we got an cab at the airport which was €30. definitely recommend the hotel but sort your own taxi!

Very smart, great quiet location and friendly, helpful staff.

We would like to have booked another stay here but when we enquired about the price it was considerably more even when we’d been told as returning customers we would be eligible for a discount. I don’t mind paying a fair price for a good hotel like this one but I don’t like the lack of transparency we experienced on this occasion. Consequently we won’t stay there again.

The street where this wonderful hotel is situated is a quiet one, with barely any cars and having the tram nearby. The hidden jewels in town are very nearby (The Public Gardens), also many cafés and bakeries, while the luxury shops and the theater and a 15-minute-walk away. The room has been very tastefully decorated, every detail counts. The quality of the sheets, the quietness of the room, the dark curtains that maintain the room dark in the morning, the switchers for the lights, very modern and practical.

I am very critical about hotels and I always find something to complain about, this time I have to say I could not find anything. The prices are not low, but given the service provided, it is justified.
