The staff in the spa, beach, and all the restaurants are truly excellent – warm, attentive, and professional. Breakfast is also a highlight, with a great selection and quality.

The overall hotel management could be improved. While it’s understandable that revenue matters, certain basics should be non-negotiable in a 5-star hotel – like providing water in the coffee machine and complimentary water in the room. Expecting guests to fill it using minibar bottles doesn’t reflect the level of service expected. Lastly, while the people working here bring kindness and authenticity, the hotel itself feels a bit soulless. You don’t really feel like you’re in Tunisia, which is a missed opportunity in such a culturally rich country.

The hotel itself was amazing. The way it had been designed, the cleanliness and the fresh rooms were definitely a huge bonus. The staff were super helpful, especially my brother Khaled in housekeeping who I feel developed a good bond with me. I will miss the hotel for a number of reasons, and think that it is a top location especially in summer. If you want a younger vibe however, maybe not the place for you.

I have very few drawbacks, though if you prefer a hotel to cater to you in all ways, then this may pose a slight issue. During the night time, there were not enough lights around. When I went to relax by the pool in the late evening as many people do, I was met with a cold and dark poolside. I think facilities as simple as light and heat should be offered year round especially if the guest has requested it. Also the food is not that great, I think it was a very outdated menu with not much to offer. The deserts at the bar however were very nice and the limited fruits on offer were fresh.

Wonderful on every level.Stunning Infinity pool,beach,quality loungers,superb restaurants-and impeccable service. This compact , sophisticated ,boutique hotel is a pleasant contrast from the sprawling ,crowded all-inclusives elsewhere along the coast. There have been positive additions since I was last here a year ago.They now have a small outdoor cafe /terrace dramatically overlooking the sea. Restaurants in the hotel offer fine dining -in every sense of the word. And the breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of healthy items,besides the usual offerings.

The hotel offered a fantastic experience, starting with a warm and welcoming reception. The room was clean, and the breathtaking seaside view made the stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool was well-maintained and perfect for relaxation, while the spa provided a truly rejuvenating experience. Additionally, the service was excellent, and the breakfast selection was diverse and delicious.

The room service dinner took around an hour to arrive, which was longer than expected. Additionally, not having the option to pay for the dinner at checkout was inconvenient, as it would have made the process smoother.

What a gem of a hotel! We had booked in to La Badera for two nights over my birthday during a 3 week Tunisia holiday and ended up extending by an extra night as we loved it so much. As it was my birthday the room was decorated in balloons and rose petals on check in. The staff were fantastic - too many wonderful gems to name them all. However a very special mention to Adel in Arvia Restaurant who went the extra mile and made my birthday dinner extra special. Nothing was too much trouble! We LOVE that the hotel is adults only - thank you! We also really appreciated that no smoking is allowed inside the hotel and that there is a section of the restaurant outside that is non smoking - we loved that us non smokers were not treated as second class guests! Tunisia is very liberal with their smoking laws, smoking is everywhere and we are not used to it living in the UK so it was great to breathe fresh air! The breakfast was excellent, with international choices and Tunisian choices to try to - Tunisian food is amazing so do try it! Thank you Orfa for the delicious omelettes! We had an amazing Hamman treatment at the spa, so authentic! There were mostly French guests staying at the hotel when we were there and no other English guests but it wasn't a problem as the staff all speak English and are extremely friendly. Even the housekeeping staff smile and greeted us when we passed them in the passageway. Thank you La Badera - we will be back!

Some people talk very loudly in the inside pool area and it echoes. Perhaps a sign could be placed saying "this is a quiet zone" or similar

I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional experience my party and I had during our recent stay at Badira Hotel. Our time at your establishment was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived at the main gate, we were impressed by the excellent service provided by the security team and every staff member we encountered. The level of professionalism and attentiveness demonstrated by your team did not go unnoticed. While we did encounter a minor issue with the A/C during our stay, I must commend Ashref and Oumaima for their quick and efficient response in addressing the issue. Their dedication and swift action not only resolved the problem promptly but also contributed to making our stay truly unforgettable. First and foremost, the professional lovely staff. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They were patient in responding to our room concerns and went way out of their way to help us with illness, medicine, queries, and so much more. Khawla, Anis, Kenza, Billlel, Maher and many more.... the staff are simply the best part of staying here and what we remember. There are resorts with beautiful locations and rooms all over the world, but staff make or break stays.. ....and the second best is the view, but only if you make sure you have a sea view facing the pool and sunset. The curve of the resort makes half the fully sea view rooms face a barren field, which was a shock. Some may prefer this, as it affords more privacy and quiet. Room service and food is great. Adults only is a must in Tunisia.

The resort itself is somewhat like a busy bus station, until evening. Very disappointing. Not at all a feeling of peace and tranquility. It seems more a popular hangout than a Leading Hotels member. The small lobby was perpetually packed with visitors not staying there, and large crews of locals seemed to stop by to hang out on the grounds all hours, most departing at end of the day. I think a large portion of people walking about on grounds were not guests. Very surprising for category of hotel. If I had selected this for tranquil long rest, I would have been disappointed. But the great staff made up for the busy grounds.

The Badira hotel should be an example for all other 5 star hotels in Tunisia. It’s an absolute experience in terms of kindness, luxury and service. From the reception Ms Khaula and Mr Zidan to the pool guys and service staff, I, as a Tunisian, I am very proud that it has a European luxury standard. The concept is successful and we go to La Badira every year. Please stay in this high professional luxury standard and always be better than the others. The hotel sparkles with style.Stunning infinity pool overlooks a lovely swimmable beach. Exquisite dining with water views.Every single meal (7 breakfasts,7 dinners) was a home run.Many healthy options too. EVERY SINGLE staff member was consistently cheerful and helpful.The concierge desk volunteered to arrange my daily taxis,and my trip to the Jema amphitheater .Interaction with Mohamed at breakfast was always a positive way to start the day.Omar at dinner was professional and gracious. Khouloud of guest relations made many helpful suggestions. The list is endless. Well equipped gym . Freshly baked warm bread at breakfast. Comfortable bed.Strong wifi signal. Huge bedroom .Fast elevators.Good security . I travel a lot -and this was a true 5-star experience.

Very nice room with pool and sea view kept clean each day. Large selection of good food for breakfast. Kamilah restaurant for dinner exceptional food and service. Indoor and outdoor pool very nice .Also use of beautiful sandy beach. Staff throughout friendly and helpful.

Just one small thing that we mentioned on point of departure as something to improve on. Disabled toilet near breakfast restaurant. Door without lock. Disabled toilet near bar used for storage. Other than that an exceptional hotel.
