The man who worked the morning shift was great. The lady who worked around 11 pm was not. There were no vending machines for drinks or snacks. This normally wouldn't matter but there were also no open stores. The closest was almost an hour away. We had missed getting dinner because we were on a hike. I will be better prepared next time She didn't even have any bottled water to buy. Little convenient items that other BW hotels have were not an option here. Last the bed was awful. It was like sleeping on balls. I will not be returning to this location.

See above. I have a lot more to say but not enough room. Like giving directions to several businesses that either no longer open or didn't exist.

The location and the amenities were good. My wife and I sat outside on the walkway in the provided rocking chairs and watched it rain for a bit. The view was nice, having grown up in East Tennessee, i know what it is like to be away from the hills. The space we stayed in was very clean, no carpet.

I didn't like being on the second floor. I felt like we were put on the second floor because we purchased our room on line at a lower rate, based on what i heard what the people paid for their room as i waited to check in. Or maybe, they were full on the lower level, i can not say for sure. The breakfast was okay. The juice dispensed liquid which was not orange juice, tasted awful, but overall it was good for the price.

The location is in the heart of Townsend right on the Parkway. Even so, it is very quiet . I really liked that housekeeping came in our room each day and made our beds, emptied the trash and left clean towels. The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. My husband has Parkinson’s Disease and fainted in our room the morning we were checking out. He fell and I could not lift him. The desk clerk was so compassionate and kind and got local first responders to help get him up. She showed such care , respect and consideration for both of us. That really meant a lot to us. You don’t find that kind of care at every hotel you visit. It is priceless.

There is nothing I did not like.

Right down the road from the national park. Townsend was an impressive location. Very easy access to the park, cute local shops, and away from the crowds in nearby towns. Hotel staff was kind and kept everything tidy in the lobby area. The hotel lobby was accessible until 11 pm which was great for a late arrival from the park. Breakfast was great. Room size was sufficient for sharing with kids. Two sinks in the room. Views of the mountains from the exterior walkways, and each room has 2 exterior rocking chairs.

This is a motel and not a hotel, so all rooms have external entrances. There is no elevator and 2nd floor room means hauling luggage up a central set of outdoor steps. It is dimly lit at night and would feel more secure with better exterior lighting. Parking lot noise can be bothersome because of the external room doors. Water pressure was not great in showers. One of our rooms was reported because the tub water ran constantly (not just a drip, but rather ran constantly because it could not be shut off), and we were told this was known and fine. We were told no other room was available when we asked to move rooms, but we had advanced reservations and I am confused why this room was made available when it needed major plumbing repair.

Room was clean, staff very friendly.

Pool had been filled in and covered with concrete. The ads did NOT tell me there was a pool. That's on me, I just remembered that there was a pool on previous stays here. The WiFi was spotty. TV was a smart TV that relied on the WiFi. If a lot of guest were all watching TV at the same time, shows would be interrupted by buffering.

Everything was great didn’t see anything wrong whatsoever while we stayed there. Staff was very friendly. Check-in & check-out was easy. Location is good. Room was nice. Comfy beds. Had rocking chairs outside our doors so we could relax outside when we wanted too. Breakfast was simple but very good. Whatever you needed the staff was there to help.

Wish the pool would have been opened since it was still warm out but it’s ok no biggie. Still enjoyed our stay very much.

Beds are comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was good for what it is. Staff was helpful. Area is peaceful and quiet. If you want away from noise and hustle and bustle it is a good place to relax .

The couch was uncomfortable and the rocking chairs need new rockers as the bottoms were flat spotted and hard to rock smooth.

Breakfast was OK

Pre called after making appt on line and asked for verification of "senior disability room". young lady said yes, We DID NOT get that type room. Also, young man that checked us in was asked for 8:30 AM wake up call -- Never received it. Also, in bathroom there is a HOLE IN THE WALL next to the standard tub.

We stayed in room 112, a king. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! The room needs a little attention, but nothing drastic. The breakfasts were VERY GOOD! The staff members were fantastic, especially the pretty woman from Jamaica. She was so welcoming and accommodating.

This may be petty, but the toilet paper was very cheap and shredded easily. We went out and bought some Angel Soft and when we left, we brought the rest home with us. If you do this, be sure you buy the septic safe tissue!

The breakfast was really good with a great variety of food. It everything you might want for breakfast. The location of the hotel is great! It’s within walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops. The room was clean & had a pleasant smell. The staff was very friendly too.

Maybe more blankets in the room.
