Good location. Elevator (lift). McDonald's next door. Near shopping mall, SNCF rail station, and bus station. Lidl supermarket in mall. Receptionist allowed me to checkin to the People Hostel next door earlier without charge when I had to stay longer by calling the People's receptionist. Room was quiet and clean.

A couple of times the room card key did not work, but the receptionist was kind to restore the card. It was not obvious how to convert the faucet from bath mode to shower mode; need to pull up on the knob. Need to bring your own face towel.

Very nice, slightly funky hotel in a superb location, whether for people (like us) travelling through Le Havre or staying in the city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was generally fine with comfortable beds. The bathroom was functional and clean and the room value excellent.

External noise was occasionally an issue in the room. We visited the roof bar which was pleasant but a little pricey and opted out of breakfast for the same reason.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Birgit Hôtel Le Havre Centre, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Pity it was one night only. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Le Havre, a short walk to tram - train station making it a breeze to explore all the city's amazing attractions. The staff was outstanding, with a special shoutout to Nicola, who went above and beyond by suggesting fantastic places to visit and being extremely helpful throughout our stay. Gino and Elaine.

the man at check in was very kind, as i’m traveling from america and had a stressful day with travel and missing my first train from paris out here, it was a last minute booking and i was shy to practice my french at a hotel and he helped me with everything. the room was standard, not too small or big, and nicely clean. i was so happy to have a room. the bistro connected to the main floor had the best burger i’ve ever had, and i loved the sauce served with the fries. merci beaucoup!

Everything was great and it exceeded our expectations! Clean and new rooms, with comfy beds! We especially liked that they had a kettle with some nice teas. They also gave us a water flask as a present, a small salted caramel and a tote bag! The decor (light blue with some giraffe and hippos on the walls!) were very nice and made up your mood! Their staff was very friendly and smiley also. We also liked that they had some still or gazeuse water to refill your bottles, as also a citrus infused water to treat you! Their breakfast was very french and nice! They had some great fresh breads and nice local cheeses such as Camembert, Pont l-Eveque and Neufchatel! Coffee was nice also! If we visit Le Havre again, we would stay there again! Very near the public transport also. At the local parking just behind you can park free from 17:00-9:00!

Stayed there twice, good spacious rooms and cheery vibe.

It is cycle friendly and there is excellent secure overnight parking in the underground car park. BUT there really isn’t anything to lock your cycle to outside for shorter periods. Those racks outside into which you can insert your bike wheel don’t count, they only serve to buckle your wheel, while a thief steals the rest of your bike! Breakfasts would benefit from some non-sweetened cereal.

Comfortable room, if a little idiosyncratic and the attached restaurant which we used, as there wasn't anything else close by (except McDonalds), was good value and a reasonable meal.

Difficult to get to from the ferryport due to dual carriageway but got there eventually. Was asked to present passports and write down my e-mail address which seemed a bit of an odd request. Breakfast was quoted as 13 euros each which seemed a bit steep so passed on this so picked up breakfast at a boulongerie after departure (4 euros). Tried to get to the rooftop bar but it was shut.

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the train/bus station, and 20-minute walk from the city center. And it has free parking to boot. They have a restaurant and a bar, both with good quality meals and drinks, and reasonable prices. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and welcoming. Overall, it’s an amazing value for the price. 100% recommend.

The room is really nice. It is quiet during the night, and I cannot hear much from outside or from other rooms. Wifi is good as well. Very clean and very comfortable. The value for money has greatly exceeded my expectation. If I travel to Le Havre once again, I will choose this hotel without hesitation.

The sound of rain is somewhat disturbing. The noice is train is ok, I cannot hear that much. But as the rain sound is closer to the window, it can be annoying.

This is funky property combined in a facility for office work-related things. Hard to figure out. So while tgere were always people lounging in the lobby, large groups of non- hotel users had large tables reserved for meals. To the detriment of small group hotel guests. Interesting decor with posters not English friendly. Wonderful bathroom except for slippery show floor and no hand holds for getting out. A wonderful facility offering much to please young travelers.

Shower floor slippery. English speaking staff spotty at best.
