I had a very nice stay - location is great to visit the castle, also a bit away from the crowd in the centre. However, there is a church next to the place, so expect to hear some bells. Lovely outside terrace, place to park bikes, good breakfast. Fridge with drinks and snacks is also a great idea, you can get reasonably priced stuff without going anywhere. The rooms are not super modern but I had everything I needed for my stay. Also a lovely and very helpful hostess!

Pillows could be better and walls are maybe a bit thin - I had a feeling I can hear a lot what is happening in the house. Earplugs helped :)

Although up a hill, we didn’t find it a problem. We were lucky to park right outside the property. The room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The landlady was very friendly & nothing was too much trouble. There is a small room where you can sit of an evening & purchase wine, beer, soft drinks & snacks. There is also a terrace to sit on. There is a pizzeria close by with other restaurants a little further down the hill. Pretty views from the property & the castle is within walking distance although more uphill. We were so pleased with our stay & location. We have booked to return later in the year.

We managed to park easily outside the Pension thanks to the owners help. But this is not guaranteed but the owner. There is parking close by for 10 euros per night. Also, if you get a parking clock thingy, you can park free for 3 hours very close by. We got a parking clock thingy from the Pennys supermarket but the owner can probably lend you one.

Staff was excellent. Very helpful on all our requests. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and great value for money paid. Location was good but was uphill and meant you had to be able to navigate the climb.

Mostly all good but every morning at 7:30 the Church, next door, rang the bell for 30 seconds. Climb up to the building was a it tough for anyone with a walking disability or limitation. Breakfast was more than adequate but get there early.

Everything about here was wonderful! The staff were friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the location was great (uphill from the train station but meant you are close to the castle and town centre). It was also decorated for Christmas which was lovely!

The only thing that would improve it would be a way to make the room darker, I don't think there was a blackout blind/curtain on the window.

Good breakfast, plenty of variety, nice set-up. The host Alvyda was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and stayed cool even though it was 30 degrees outside.

Room layout, not suited for a double-bed, with the bed too close to the wall making it difficult to move around the room or get the luggage to the storage compartment.

We truly adored our stay at Pension Hendriks. Our room was impeccably clean, and the staff made us feel right at home, creating an overall delightful experience. Our room offered a lovely view of a beautiful church, adding to the charm of this simple yet enchanting place.

Location is uphill, which we do not mind.

A homely guest house with a very friendly hostess. She even raced out to get more rolls when it appeared they would run out. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good.

It was close to town and the castle, but a long walk with a steep climb from the station.

Very helpful on arrival, took us to a garage to park motorcycle for 10€ per night. Purchased a bottle of wine from the honesty bar, which was a good idea when arriving back from a day out sightseeing.
