We booked this property after reading the other reviews, specifically the reviews about Lucia and her wonderful breakfast. Everything was perfect. Lucia is a wonderful host in every way. The room was clean, comfortable and cool. The breakfast was outstanding! Served in the garden, it was a little piece of paradise every morning. The house feels like it’s out in the countryside as it is so tranquil. But you are actually just minutes away from Otranto historic centre. We ate a couple of times at Balconcino D’Oriente restaurant on Lucia’s recommendation. If you want typical, great quality Puglian food, this place is perfect. Another place we loved was Martinucci ice cream shop. This is a chain, but a very good quality one. And this particular Martinucci is fantastic. If you need a quick bite to eat, a gelato, or even an Aperol Spritz this place does it all. We would love to return again to Otranto and see the wonderful Lucia.

Stunning property in a wonderful, rural setting and yet only 10 mins stroll from the wonderful town of Otranto. Lucia is a wonderful host and has, very thoughtfully, created a very comfortable, very well equipped BandB. The breakfast, with different home made cakes and biscuits each day plus salad, fruit and eggs all from the property’s own resources, was truly wonderful, just as almost every other guest who’s left a review has said. We had a wonderful break and wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

We felt so lucky to stay at the property. There are only 3 rooms so it is very quiet and intimate. The walk into town is easy and short, and is a great reprieve from the busy Centro historico. The rooms are perfectly comfortable and the garden is delightful. You cannot really talk about this place without talking about the host Lucia and her wonderful breakfasts. Truly the best breakfast food we had our whole month in Italy. Will always be dreaming of her cakes and cookies.

Lucia and her partner are the loveliest, most gracious hosts, doing what they love, and it shows. The property is simply lovely, secluded in a pastoral setting yet close enough to Otranto and all its charms. The breakfasts alone were worth the price of a stay — locally grown in their gardens, incredibly delicious, and so, so abundant we had to take half of it to-go to tide us over as we drove along the southern coast. We loved greeting their sweetest dog Aris every morning. It really felt like we were staying with friends, our experience was just so warm and heartwarming.

The shower was small and leaked water so we had to be careful!

The hosts are such amazing persons. We felt extremely welcomed from the first moment we arrived at the apartment. The breakfasts are absolutely stunning and were definitely the best we've seen in all Italy!! The location of the apartment is also perfect - it's calm at night, you can park your car at the property and yet it just takes 5 minutes to walk to the city centre. 10/10 would recommend and again a massive thank you to you, Lucia, for the great time we had!! To those reading this review: If you don't book this immediately, you are missing out on such an amazing stay!

The location was good - in a quiet setting, about a ten minute walk from the historic town centre. The room was fine, clean comfortable and big enough, but there is also a really nice garden area, which is available for guests to use. When we phoned Lucia to say we had arrived, she came to welcome us in a few minutes. She gave us good recommendations for dinner in the town, ad for nearby villages to visit. Breakfast was a real experience, and no one will leave hungry. There was plenty of choice, warm and cold, and Lucia offered a wide range of home-cooked items, including bread, cakes and marmalades, as well as nice fresh fruit and vegetables. Otranto is a lovely town, an old port with old city walls interesting cobbled streets, and plenty of restaurants and shops.

We had no complaints at all. The only suggestion that we would make is another sign at the house itself. We found the road down to the B&B, but it was not obvious which of several houses was the right one (the lowest one at the bottom of the lane).

Lucia and Vincenzo have created a wonderfully calm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and well-decorated. The delicious breakfast (choice of both sweet and savoury, homemade/homegrown) served in a beautiful and relaxing flower garden was perfect. The indoor common area (also super clean), fitted with tables, sink, plates, microwave, etc is a useful and thoughtful extra space. Peace and quiet everywhere, you would never know that the busy town centre is only a 10 minute walk away. Lucia was always ready with a smile, a chat and good tips for places to eat or visit, she is a fantastic host!!

We had read that the breakfast was good, but we had no idea that it would be so delicious. Lucia and Vincenzo are wonderful hosts and chefs, and the breakfasts served outdoors on the patio were jaw-dropping fantastic. Food is fresh from their property and they really know how to prepare and serve. The best we've ever had anywhere. Easy to park on property and take a very short walk into town.

The most wonderful hospitality. The property is majestic. Host Lucia is nothing short of amazing, cooking food for the gods and so generous and considerate. Her recommendations were fantastic, from beaches to bike hire to traditional food and sheltered swimming spots of breathtaking beauty. I could not recommend this place any further.
