First time to Koh Chang, really loved it and the hotel was amazing, fantastic views and great facilities.

I didn't like Booking.com, I chose to pay later and paid a premium but the hotel took payment immediately and it ended up costing me around 100 euro more as a result. Booking.com customer service were completely idiotic suggesting I send a screen shot of when I booked the hotel, as a time machine was unavailable i could not. Never using Booking.com again you can get better deals Booking direct anyway. Hotel only issues would be access for elderly or infirm people due to geography but I think they a e some solutions for this.

Property is well maintained, nice and cosy beach.

Breakfast room and dinner place lacks charm, considering its a 5star hotel. Warm beer is not a plus too. As its a remote hotel, what is extremely inconvenient is that 9pm all facilities are closed. Not even a beach bar is open

Beach was great, private to the resort.

People grabbing the loungers on the beach early every day before breakfast we assume and leaving them empty for a lot of the time, using towels to show they were taken. Not cool for those of us who play by the rules.

A dream of a hotel! Fantastic views and incredibly friendly staff! We travelled around the island and in our opinion the most beautiful hotel!

The location was already mentioned, we liked it since we had a scooter and were flexible, but without it you will need a taxi to go to town.

We loved the view, the beach, the pools, the breakfast buffet and the service. The cleaning staff was excellent and the rooms were very clean. We loved all the staff at the Buffet, the Sunset restaurant and the Pool Bar. Everyone was great. The location was excellent with the free shuttle to town along with the ease of getting a taxi. We were a group of 13 and the hotel did an amazing job of accommodating us. Kaibae is a great little beach town which is super close by taxi or shuttle and even walkable if you choose to.

The beds could be a little more comfortable. The prices at the bar and restaurant could be a little more competitive with other surrounding restaurants and bars. The Cable car could be upgraded, it broke down a few times on us, but the hotel was great about sending golf carts to take us wherever we wanted to go. We also didn't like the fact that some of the prizes on New Years was to ride and swim with the elephants, we feel that this is unethical.

Lovely staff. The whole place is very big but it was not busy. Loved the beach. The food was okay, the breakfast very good. Lovely views from the balcony.

A bit out the way and you were not able to really walk outside the resort. Monkeys come onto the balcony's which can be distressing if you are scared of them, albeit they are very funny and clever.

It was a great location right on the beach. The staff were very helpful.

On or second night we were eating in the restaurant on the beach my wife and sons food came out mine was nearly a. Hour later. So I refused to pay for it. Then at checkout they try to charge me $70 for a bottle of wine from the mini bar that I didn’t drink. They said the label was missing. You don’t expect that to happen in a 5* hotel when you’re paying $600 dollars a nights

The hotel was excellent, hotel rooms were large and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast as it was delicious. The swimming pool was beautiful and very clean. The beach was also great. It was not too crowded and there was space for everyone. The place was green and we felt we were in a mini jungle. The funicular was also handy to access the restaurant as we were on the beach side. The gym was also a plus.

There were renovation works going on, just next to our room from 8am each morning as the hotel was making a restaurant next to the beach. We wanted to extend our stay but the reception wanted to charge us more than what we payed for our 7 day stay. We did not understand why they did not find us a solution. There were many options on booking.com as we also checked at the same time. We were charged for a broken glass (200 baths)

Resort is located in jungle, lot of trees surrounding all buildings. Breakfast are in upper building reached by cable car or by walk into steep slope, what gives the breakfast beautiful view. And breakfast itself are really nice. Room are big, clean, mats are good quality.

Since our last visit six years ago, unfortunately, a habit has spread here, mainly among Russian tourists, of reserving sunbeds in the shade from early in the morning. Even though they sometimes use them only for about an hour or two a day, they keep them occupied the entire day. And although the hotel prohibits this practice, they don’t really enforce the rule. That said, there are still enough sunbeds available. Accommodation in a deluxe room by the beach is slightly disturbed by cars and motorbikes passing in front of the building, revving their engines as they climb the steep hill from 6 a.m. onwards. Without earplugs, it was impossible to sleep after 6.

The property was very clean and tidy with staff busy all day cleaning rooms, restaurants and the grounds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with outstanding views. Although a very large resort with accommodation scattered up a mountainside, all means of transport was provided to allow my disabled wife to get around. The same applied even for able bodied persons. To say I rate it 10 out of 10 would be doing it an injustice. Very highly recommended 😊

There was nothing not to like, I’ve never felt so special, so completely relaxed, so welcome and so comfortable.
