we stayed in a small bungalow for two nights and I was surprised how nice the bungalows were. the bed was comfy (soft), enough space to hang some clothes and we had a nice balcony with a bench. it was clean and quite here which was amazing. the ac was good and not too loud and a fridge was in the room. water refill happened every day.

the lady who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, the other staff was pretty nice though. and well it’s not the owners fault but you could see the poor elephants chained up from our bungalows ( on the next property over ) which made us very very sad as soon as you go outside. I can’t believe some people still support animal cruelty like this.

It’s is a 10 min walk from the Kae Bai beach, which is a nice beach. There are enough facilities around the property. Like massage, 7 eleven and places to eat. The room was good value for money. Everyday you get fresh water and extra toilet paper.

The first days I picked a room with a fan, which I normally do. But the bungalow kept the warmth inside, so it was really hot inside. Advice, choose the bungalow with AC. The staff was really helpful with renting a scooter and fixing my transport to an other island.

Very close to the beach, good room for the price. Nice porch area to sit and relax on in the day and evening. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy to access with small stairs and ramps. Fresh towels and water when needed.

The window to the bathroom allowed for others above to see in. Every morning the sprinkler would shoot through the window into the bathroom. Very small room if you have lots of luggage can be difficult to get around. No kettle in the room but there is one in reception.

Beautiful well kept gardens. Good location, short walk to the beach. Nice sitting area at reception with free tea and coffee. Bottle of water and loo roll outside your room every day. Will make up your room if you ask.

For us everything was great, we had a bungalow with a fan which suited us. It was quite warm but if you don’t like it warm maybe get a room with AC. Mosquito screens would have been good so you could sleep with the windows open.

Location was amazing - right off the main road, but super quiet. 2 minute walk to beach! Super simple and basic - amazing value. We stayed 10 blissful nights. Other people there stay a month at a time and return regularly. Cleaned daily - super friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to return.

Bathroom ceiling was not great - not sure if it was moldy or just water damage.

I booked a Cottage (M), but actually got a room in a long building with several units together, just off the main street. Not sure if description was improper or I was not given what I booked. At that point I did not mind since I was not in a room much. Room was really big and clean, bathroom was ok, but both have seen better days though. Free water daily and option to make a free coffee at reception. Just opposite is a bakery, several restaurant, night market and 7-11 are also not more than 200m away. Best option to get to the beach is at the KB resort, 5min walking.

Next to the hotel is a rock bar with daily live music. Can get a little noisy.

The bungalow where we stayed on the hill were a perfect distance from the noise of the Main Street and right beside the elephants very surreal , it was comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful garden to wake up to each morning

There was nothing I did not like

Although it's close to the main road, it was quiet enough for peaceful sleep. The units were clean and spacious. A 5 minute walk to the beach. The massage facility on-site was great!

Bedside lamps would be great, so you don't have to get out of bed to switch the lights off.

Great place!! Very good location, 4 min walk to the beach. Lot of shops and restaurants just 1 min walk Amazing stuff! The rooms are very clean, and in good condition. And they have in the front really good massage. Overall excellent experience Definitely come again.

Was perfect for us

Great place with a very good location, close to the beach and bars. I really enjoyed the area and had a good rest when I went back to my room.

The wifi was very slow and sometimes I lose the signal, but that is the only thing I can complain.
