The location is awesome and there’s plenty of good food options around. The breakfast was REALLY good and the rooms were nice and tidy. There’s a lot of potential in VAYNA! Would definitely come back here.

Staff was a bit absent, maybe because of language barrier but hey, you’re a hotel. Could come and check up on guests more. In the morning people put towels on beds and leave. Make a policy for that because it is rude. Drinks at hotel are expensive compared to neighours. Hotel room is nice, but no vibe.

We stayed for 2 weeks together with our little baby and toddler and can highly recommend this hotel. The personal is exceptionally helpful and nice. They helped us also to arrange a surprise birthday party for my mother, who was also with us at the same hotel. They have great breakfast variation, comfortable chairs in the restaurant, the best sunset view at the beach and everything is superclean everywhere. The whole vibe was very familiar since it is a small hotel and you get to know the other guests after a while. It was nice because the people there were all open and you can easily connect with other people which is fun. Another good thing was that the whole outdoor area is designed openly - so you can see the restaurant, the bar, the pool area, the beach and the massage corner all at the same time, which made it super easy for us to have a look after the kids while they were playing in the sand even though we were enjoying a drink at the bar at the same time.

It is not a problem of a property, but there is a construction going on right next to the hotel so in the rooms and especialy on the beach or pool there is a lot of noise and also smell from the construction. Just for the future guests

The location is beautiful, right on the beach with beautiful views. The pool is really nice, and the perfect escape from the heat. Hotel has been recently renovated and is really nicely done . The rooms were super clean and comfortable and it was really quiet at night. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend and stay here again.

Breakfast is good and the restaurant is nice, but fairly limited options for western palettes, It needs a proper bar area/lounge to chill out in as there isn't really one. Only very small seating area at the beach bar (the one with the swings). Only a small number of sunbeds for the amount of guests.

It is a very nice place to relax and spend couple of days in, the location has access to a many different shops, restaurants and other attractions.

Modern boho design. Clean, spacious and comfy rooms. Great location as shops, restaurants and bars are in walking distance. Nice bar at the beach.

Construction site next door was very noisy and therefore somewhat annoying when chilling at the pool or beach. Variety of breakfast could be improved and some more beach chairs would be great and, especially in the high season.

Location on the beach. Very good, varied breakfast, with plenty of healthy options (fresh veggies and fruits, eggs cooked in butter instead of seed oils). The breakfast area is in open air, with the view of the sea. Friendly staff. The free activities were amazing (thai boxing, cooking class, paddle board). Very comfortable beds and cushions! Rooms were cleaned every day. Quiet, peaceful (the construction site nearby does not make noises, it was very quiet during our 10 days stay in January 2025). The friendly cats at the reception. Good priced and comfortable private transportation from and to Bangkok, organised by the reception. Every evening restaurant on the beach, with soup and salad bar included in the orders. The whole beach is nice to walk on, plenty of restaurant options for lunches along the sand. Highly recommend Vayna, very good value for money! We will be back!

During windy days, bathroom smell. The reception very friendly, immediately send someone to clean the drain which solved the problem temporarily. Even offered to change rooms is problem persists and apologised. We really appreciated this :)

The outdoor areas of the hotel are superb, the pool is very lovely and gives a very relaxing feel. The buffet breakfast was very good also, has both western and Thai food and the Thai selection was very tasty and changed every day. The area the hotel is in is also very well placed to explore along the beachfront and beyond. Direct access to the beach was also a bonus. Bed was comfy, air con v good. Most of the staff were lovely and very helpful.

The bathroom drains stink, no getting away from it they're ripe!! So there's deffinitley an issue with these. The staff at the beachfront bar could do with being more polite. The beachfront bar also charges a service fee even if you're just standing there waiting for your drink which is baffling.

Our stay at Vayna Boutique was nothing short of brilliant. We booked 7 nights and ended up staying 14 nights instead. Our expectations were exceeded in just about every way. The staff were wonderful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in one of the Thai style rooms and found it very comfortable. We loved the beds which were not quite as hard as many you find in Thailand. There was coffee provided daily along with water and fresh towels. Our balcony looked out onto the next hotel so not a scenic view but it was still a nice little space to sit and relax. Breakfast was excellent, there around around 3 or 4 Thai options each morning as well as fried rice and boiled rice + soups, fruits, bread and pancakes/waffles, cereal and salad + an egg station to get freshly made eggs your way. In comparison to other hotels we have stayed at there was always plenty of food available and the quality and choice was very good. The pool was clean and refreshing and the bar is open all day with a good afternoon happy hour buy one get one free cocktails. From the pool and bar you're about 4 steps away from the beach which is at the calmer end of Klong Prao beach. It's a bit more sheltered from the waves than the northern end which makes for excellent swimming. There's a couple of great beach bars/restaurants just up the beach. We recommend Mandalay for cocktails and food, they have a happy "hour" that runs from mid-day to 10pm with 100 baht cocktails. Massages are fairly priced starting at 300 baht for a 1 hour thai massage - this is about the standard on the island. We came here for a good rest and could not have been happier with our choice. Also recommend Sale and Pepe for amazing Pizza and Go Pok Curry House for exceptional and cheap Thai Curry.

Nothing! We had a great time. Just a few small notes to be aware of if we're being picky: 1. All the equipment in the fitness room was out of order, with no eta for repair so there are only free weights available 2. The hotel next door is being rebuilt and there is ongoing construction noise that you can hear from time to time. It's ot constant but they do work 7 days a week and until late in the evening (9pm ish). 3. The hotel restaurant and bar prices are a bit more than you will pay if you wander around 5 minutes up the road or along the beach. This is the norm for resorts but it's worth knowing. The quality of the food and drink is excellent though so you pay for what you get to an extent.

Breakfast was ok. We, as 2 rooms for 8 days (4 persons)asked for cheese supply for breakfast but they did not. We did not have any food for dinner. Neighbor small restaurants are more reasonable priced and very good
