The location is awesome and there’s plenty of good food options around. The breakfast was REALLY good and the rooms were nice and tidy. There’s a lot of potential in VAYNA! Would definitely come back here.

Staff was a bit absent, maybe because of language barrier but hey, you’re a hotel. Could come and check up on guests more. In the morning people put towels on beds and leave. Make a policy for that because it is rude. Drinks at hotel are expensive compared to neighours. Hotel room is nice, but no vibe.

Lovely place to stay, chill and relax. Since it was low season the hotel was not very crowded so the pool area and the beach were very quiet. The beach is not rocky so it’s perfect and literally next to the pool. My room was huge ( 3rd floor, simple room I think) and everything was clean and tidy, modern furniture, super comfy bed and all. Staff was super friendly and helpful, you can have cleaning services every day. Breakfast very good with lots of options ( only at the end of my stay they opted for menu options instead of 100% buffet). Very good internet for the ones who need to work

A bit far from the “ main area “ of the island but I did not care since I wanted quite and peace - many restaurants and 7/11 near. AC was strong and a bit noisy, also you can hear people from the corridor if they are being loud. Hotel next door was under construction so you can hear the noise from the pool/restaurant.

We stayed for 2 weeks together with our little baby and toddler and can highly recommend this hotel. The personal is exceptionally helpful and nice. They helped us also to arrange a surprise birthday party for my mother, who was also with us at the same hotel. They have great breakfast variation, comfortable chairs in the restaurant, the best sunset view at the beach and everything is superclean everywhere. The whole vibe was very familiar since it is a small hotel and you get to know the other guests after a while. It was nice because the people there were all open and you can easily connect with other people which is fun. Another good thing was that the whole outdoor area is designed openly - so you can see the restaurant, the bar, the pool area, the beach and the massage corner all at the same time, which made it super easy for us to have a look after the kids while they were playing in the sand even though we were enjoying a drink at the bar at the same time.

It is not a problem of a property, but there is a construction going on right next to the hotel so in the rooms and especialy on the beach or pool there is a lot of noise and also smell from the construction. Just for the future guests

The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. It has a very cozy feeling to it and the rooms are also very cozy and a pleasure to stay in. The property is well maintained.

The beach area in front of the hotel was always full of debris and unkept. While the Dawa resort staff would always come out early morning and clean their beach no one ever did that at Vayna. Also, the breakfast was terrible!!! Very few items of very poor quality. Even the that food was with frozen shrimp and cooked so bad- come on!!! Get a better cook and a better menu! It ruins the whole experience. We appreciated the gifts we received as we left, very thoughtful and also the piece of cake and very thoughtful note left by the staff on my husbands birthday! Thank you!

- good breakfast with a variety of savoury dishes and sides to choose from - happy hour at cocktail bar (buy one get one for free) - comfortable bed, clean room - friendly staff - nice sea view from the dining area, pool and bar - when you visit during your birthday month, the staff leaves you a piece of cake and a card during the morning cleaning :)

- the fitness room is tiny (I know that's usually the case with hotels, but this one is really small) - there were a lot of leaves in the pool, it would be nice to have a net available to be able to take them out (the leaves were big though, so we just grabbed them with our hands, no big deal) - there's a lot of garbage at the beach, it would be nice if the hotel staff kept the beach area in front of the hotel clean (although we were in low season, maybe when there are more people visiting, the beach is being cleaned more often)

We liked the location of the hotel, but it's definitely not luxurious, just a small hotel with cute room amenities.☺️ We really liked the bathroom and the outdoor facilities with a pool by the sea. Unfortunately, we were there during the off-season, so we had to order breakfast at the table instead of the usual buffet. But we would definitely stay at this hotel again. 😇

We weren't happy with the parking for scooters, it rained occasionally during the day and always at night. There is no covered parking, it only looks like there is, but it's just plants that let the rain through. It sounds unimportant, but when you arrive on a scooter, it's essential. ☺️

The size of the room was surprisingly big. It was also well designed with the space for bags on one side towards the bathroom entrance making the room clutter free. The breakfast on low occupancy days was also thoughtfully changed to made to order so as to avoid wastage.

The Happy Hours/Free appetizers promotion on their notice board wasn't applied at the time of the billing. When checked they said it was valid only during high season. However the promotion did not mention any such T&C.

The staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly. Swimming pool was excellent, beach was lovely and to see the fire show display from the neighbouring resort was certainly the making of our stay. Reception staff seen I had just had a birthday and put a really lovely card on our bed, made beautiful elephant figures out of the towels on our bed AND a very delicious and beautiful cheesecake was in our fridge. Absolutely outstanding wonderful staff. Resort is very clean and quiet and easy to get around with scooter hire and shuttle services to other parts of the island and beaches, but think this Resort very hard to bet. We had snack food around the pool one day which was very delicious. And always complimentary watermelon and fruit served with the meals and snacks. Had 3 evening meals at the resort, first night was the best steak I have had so had it again the next night and was only average. So on the 3rd night talked to the bar staff ( who were all excellent) and explained that I would love to have the same fillet steak as the first night. Unfortunately it wasn't. Breakfast service was a bit of a let down with the food not being hot. Pre cooked fried egg and the bacon was pre cooked and cold. Talked to breakfast manger and explained our concerns and the next morning was a bit better. Once again all the staff and managers were wonderful. We suggested some bar stools around the bar and maybe get rid of the "swing seats" would be a lot better for sitting around the bar looking out to the sea AND the very beautiful sunset's ..Bar staff ( who were all wonderful) did say that bar stools have been ordered Planning on returning next year so hopefully be sitting on a bar stool.

As above I have noted the few things.

The location is beautiful, right on the beach with beautiful views. The pool is really nice, and the perfect escape from the heat. Hotel has been recently renovated and is really nicely done . The rooms were super clean and comfortable and it was really quiet at night. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend and stay here again.

Breakfast is good and the restaurant is nice, but fairly limited options for western palettes, It needs a proper bar area/lounge to chill out in as there isn't really one. Only very small seating area at the beach bar (the one with the swings). Only a small number of sunbeds for the amount of guests.
