Everything was really great, very clean rooms and very nice indoors and outdoors facilities.

Restaurant prices were too high! We only had dinner once at the beach restaurant and for what we had, we paid more than what we would have paid in our home city Vienna, Austria. And the food quality wasn’t not as great either. Also, when we checked out they charged us 680Thai Baht for room service.? Normally room service is always included in the total price. We did not order any food or special services for the room. They just charged the daily cleaning rate extra at the end.

The hotel boasted an ideal location, with splendid surroundings that truly captured the essence of Koh Chang. The rooms were exceptional—spacious, well-appointed, and with all the amenities that contributed to a comfortable and memorable stay. As for the services, they were in line with the renowned Thai hospitality—flawless and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was catered to perfection.

Considering the premium pricing of the hotel, which stands as one of the most expensive in the area, it would be highly beneficial for guests if the establishment could offer additional amenities such as snorkeling gear, paddle boards, and kayaks for rent or complimentary use. These additions would not only enhance the value proposition of the hotel but also enrich the guest experience by allowing easy exploration of Koh Chang's beautiful waters directly from the convenience of the hotel's prime location.

The staff was lovely and very accommodating. We felt welcome and taken care of in every moment of our stay at the resort. The breakfast buffet was tasty and versatile, abundant with a selection of Thai options, and had a separate section for those craving western food options. The drinks at the bar were great and we would highly recommend taking advantage of their Happy Hour deals. Overall, The Dewa is the perfect match for those looking to relax in utmost peace and quiet and we definitely plan to come back!

The AC on the 1st floor is incredibly loud and can give a really hard time to those who are not hard sleepers. Also, during the evening dinner on the beach the staff tends to really overcook the protein you order on your BBQ. Flavour and freshness is on point, but every meat and seafood felt like chewing on a rubber when we ate it, so we definitely would not recommend dining there in the evening.

- The beach next to the hotel is a little shallow for a long distance so it’s more for chilling at the beach rather than swimming. - Soundproofing isn’t there. The first night (Thursday) consisted of music playing till 12 am where you can feel the bass in the room even with ANC earphones, but it was only that night (we were here for 7 nights) and the music was done by 9 pm for the other nights. The birds start chirping loudly from 5 am 😅 - The bathtub was dirty the day we arrived but everything else was clean - You can see the buildings are on the older end

We stayed in the Deluxe Double, ground floor, facing the pool. It was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of drinking water available. Lovely, and affordable massage available on site. For June, we had not bad weather with mild rain showers. The breakfast was wonderful as expected. The beach was lovely. Other restaurants available along the beach from other resorts. Generally a quite location, but a short walk to basic shops.

The surface around the pool could use some updating as some of the wood is rotting, but they were doing work elsewhere during our stay which is a good sign. It would be nice if some more neighbouring properties also cleaned the beach or a greater community effort was made. When I walked the beach I always found plenty of plastic garbage from the sea and would put a bunch in a bin.

Dewa is a luxury resort with just a few steps to their own beach. The architecture of the 17 years old buildings is based on bare concrete. Some love it some not so much ... I attach a photo of a corner of the bathroom door of our room to give you an idea. It is a design statement, walls and floors are concrete. Rooms are rather dark, bed in the middle, no bedside tables, there always was a faint smell of sewer in the bathroom (that they tried to fight by setting up an essence vaporizer every day). Breakfast is good but the coffee machine uses instant coffee (no real grounds) and there is no freshly pressed juice. Don't get me wrong: Dewa IS a very nice resort. In my opinion it should be quite a bit cheaper than it is to adjust the price quality ratio.

Stunning property, beautiful rooms! We had so much space, lovely balcony overlooking the pool and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great and all the staff go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing stay. Stunning beach, good hotel food but also very close to lots of local places. Short walk to busy bar areas and amenities etc. Hotel has lots of drinks deals on which we loved and they made excellent cocktails! Could not recommend enough!

Could see lots of Non-Hotel guests using the hotels sun loungers on the beach which meant sometimes there was no space for us as paying hotel guests.

This place was absolutely beautiful. I adore the greenery and the architecture of the hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in whilst being abroad. The breakfast was great and the massage on the beach service was an amazing price with an amazing service, perfectly located. This was an experience for the books

Amazing and very stylish hotel. It's located on the quiet street far from the road noise. The beach is very beautiful and shared with only one more hotel so there are not so many people, almost none in the end of September. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with European and Thai food. Room on the third floor is very big and with terrace instead of small balcony like on the second floor. There are several nice cafes on the beach also Thai massage. 7eleven is very close and bike rent as well. 15 min by bike from the white sand beach and 5 min from Kai Bae Beach with lots of restaurants and bars.

The staff was great, so nice, considerate (they noticed what we needed and provided it immediately) and welcoming. The location is great to explore the west side of Koh Chang. The place is beautiful, including the 🥽 pool and the beach. Every night they would set up a restaurant on the beach which was cool. The fruity cocktails (the only I tried) were very yummy. There were more vegetarian options for breakfast than in most of the places I stayed in Thailand The atmosphere was queer friendly. .

The only minor negative point was that the air con in the room was old and quite noisy. But everything else was good and I can only recommend this resort.
