Absolutely perfect. Worth each penny (Baht). Perfect modern and well designed rooms. A special big compliment and thank you to the amazing staff who made everything to provide great service and to make our stay enjoyable.

What I dislike is the numerous families with smalll kids and even babies with whom you are forced to share the pool. Unfortunately it is impossible to enjoy the fantastic pool and sunbeds due to noisy families which use the entire area as playground. I have a completely different understanding of a hotel named "the retreat" and would be willing to pay more if this was an adults only hotel. I can therefore not recommend this place for couples or singles who are seeking the tranquility. Nonetheless a big compliment and thank you to the amazing staff.

Beautiful hotel, great location for ealking to waterfalls, viewpoints, and great restaurants. Hotel has a great team super food and breakfast was amazing as all cooked to order. We will certainly be back.

Only negative would be no beach, but to be fair has a stunning pool and you can always walk to a near beach.

I will summarize my impression of the hotel in one word; Wow! Upon first meeting the wonderful staff, I felt welcome. The interior, the exterior, the location and the food are also top quality. And sitting in the restaurant and enjoying breakfast with a sea view was worth the stay alone.

This was the best Resot I have ever been to. I do fancy holidays every year but the Retreat was without a doubt the best Hotel I ever visited. Firstly this place is aesthetic as fuck. Perfectly designed, beautiful plants everywhere and just a very very nice vibe where you always feel private. The Breakfast: Absolutely Amazing. You get to choose between more than 3 Pages of Gournet Breakfast choices which all taste delicious! The View is also perfect! The Personal is very friendly and you feel very welcomed. More families with children of all ages than you would imagine at such a lovely spa hotel

The staff was exceptional, exceeding all our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my visit, I felt truly valued as a guest. Special thanks to Ped from the reception and Veea from the service for making our stay truly memorable. Moreover, the hotel itself is stylish and chic. The modern design and attention to detail create a luxurious atmosphere that is both inviting and sophisticated. From the elegant lobby to the beautifully appointed rooms, every corner of the hotel exudes elegance and class.

The hotel is actually stunning. This could well be the most beautiful hotel I have stayed or may ever stay in! We had an incredible swim-up room with a gorgeous bathroom with great lighting. The hotel has exceptional quality of rooms, the bedding and the lush landscaping and overall polish of the hotel grounds has a wow factor. Wonderful to have all-day a-la-carte breakfast available. It’s no problem to have a morning coffee and return for something more substantial once you’ve woken up! Perfect evening cocktails but price is high comparatively than if you venture out, but great to take in the sunsets before heading out for dinner. The area has plenty going on just outside the hotel grounds, there are bars and restaurants just at the end of the driveway and a good buzz in the evening. The pool was never too crowded, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. While not many people were ordering poolside drinks, a member of staff would periodically bring bottles of still water for all guests. There's a great little glass box with a gym with the latest equipment including a good weighs selection. The staff are truly exceptional and offer a very personal service, you definitely feel like a person with a name and not a room number. A special shoutout to Vee and Maly who were so pleasant and welcoming and made our experience even better.

The best resort in Koh Chang. 5 star for a reason. This place is incredible. From the moment I checked in I felt like I was in paradise. The staff here are incredibly attentive especially the female manager (who wears The Chill Uniform) her and the staff make for an incredible experience. The breakfast staff are incredible. I have never experience and food like this in all my years travelling the world. Without these staff the hotel wouldn’t function, absolutely incredible. Beautiful room, pool and amazing breakfast

- the spa is in another hotel - there is no beach access from the hotel (and this wasn’t clear in the pictures) - the staff is not helpful - if they don’t have a partnership with the activity you want to do they won’t help you ( ex. We knew there was Muay Thai on Wednesdays in koh Chang and we asked the hotel the address of the place, the staff told us many times that there wasn’t Muay thaï on Wednesdays - we managed to go anyway. There wasn’t anymore space a the hotel spa - I asked if they could book us a massage at another place they said no and so on)

It's quiet place with limited rooms and even when fully booked not crowded, a la card breakfast at any time from 7am to late pm, comfortable rooms, many other restaurants in walking distance, very friendly staff, nice pool, fantastic view on sunsets

No beach or easy access to the sea, from time to time loud music from nearby Thai-boxing arena, price for drinks at bar/restaurant
