Location was everything, with stunning views over Ragusa Ibla. The rooms were beautifully appointed, everything was new, and exceptionally clean. The three terraces, plus our own balcony were a real bonus. We loved everything about this once, but… Anna, the housekeeper, is an exceptional woman, so hardworking. She was always looking out to help us, happy and very interesting to chat to whilst she was waiting for new guests to arrive. Nothing was too much for her. She was very happy and always smiling. We loved her. She really made our stay very special. Thank you Anna!

The breakfast was the most thoughtful of our trip. It was a charcuterie board of local delicacies. Of course coffee as well and a lovely room. The location was absolutely perfect. Just a short walk from the town parking and right between the two parts of Ragusa. We had an absolutely charming view and if it had not been so HOT I would have loved the rooftop lookout.

We were there on the hottest week of the year and the air-conditioning was not strong enough. It may have just been our room and it was definitely a rough week all around in Sicily.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. Vincenzo at the reception was incredibly helpful—he gave us clear advice on things to do, helped plan our first few hours (especially since we arrived late and were unfamiliar with the area), and shared great tips for exploring Ragusa Ibla. Breakfast was a highlight: sitting on the balcony with a view of the town while trying local savory specialties made mornings feel special. The location was perfect for wandering the historic streets, and Vincenzo’s friendly, attentive service made everything easy. A warm, well-run place with genuine hospitality. We’d happily stay here again!

The breakfast was very unusual and took a bit of getting used to but I certainly enjoyed the experiment and the view from the terrace was spectacular. Bearing in mind the location is extremely hilly with numerous steps and steep inclines, it was a relief that there were 3 different bus services from the Piazza Republica located 62 steps down from the hotel. The host, Vicenzo, was very helpful and his assistant (Anna) an absolute diamond. With only 5 bedrooms, it was easy to get to know the other guests and I definitely recommend the hotel.

My room didn't have some of the facilities described in the "booking confirmation" such as ironing facilities, refrigerator & desk.

Perfect location with a fantastic terrace with an impressive view of Ibla. Communication was excellent and Vincenzo the host was incredibly helpful and warm. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was thoughtfully curated with local cheeses and meats, homemade spreads, bread, cake and Modica chocolate, and terrific coffee. Wish we had stayed more than 1 night!

We had heavy suitcases with us so be prepared to carry them up some stairs from the parking to the property! Small price to pay for this convenient location.

Perfect location in between RAGUSA IBla and RAGUSA SUPERIOR- you could walk to the heart of either one in 10 minutes. Wonderful facility-comfortable room, fabulous roof top terrace plus a shared lounge. Friendly, caring host and a gourmet breakfast of local cheese, meats, breads and spreads. Parking was relatively convenient too-a big lot off a main road “just” a 5 minute stair climb away (and our host met us and carried a suitcase up)

We loved everything, but if you have a problem with stairs this is not the place for you(and maybe skip Ragusa) It is only 3 flights inside, but the street outside (see photos)is a staircase so you must go up and down to visit any of the wonderful sights and restaurants.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations! :) We book it at the very last minute and it was the best experience we had so far in Sicily. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. The view from the terrace was breathtaking (we could sit there for hours), the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was a true delight – fresh, regional products and local flavors that are definitely worth trying. A perfect place for relaxation and an unforgettable stay! Definitely 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Intervallo. It was easy to communicate with Vincenzo, the owner, and he explained where to park for free. He then met is at the parking and helped us with our bags. We had 2 rooms. They were comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms had everything you might need. Vincenzo is super nice, friendly and helpful and you can see he loves his work. He served us a beautiful breakfast with cappuccino and a board of local cheeses, hams, jellies and breads. Intervallo also has one of the best views of Ragusa Ibla and you can enjoy it from the terraces. Loved staying at Intervallo.

Staff here are phenomenal! Room though cozy was very comfortable and clean. Absolutely beautiful roof top terrace with spectacular views of Ragusa Ibla! Vincenzo who met us at property was such a gentleman and carried our heavy luggage up the steps for us , gave us a tour of the building, recommended excellent restaurants! He also gave us his number to arrange taxi service for us during our stay! Above and beyond! We had a lovely breakfast served on terrace by Anna who was just a delight! We also had dessert on terrace overlooking Old Ragusa lit up at night. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If you have ambulation issues this might not be the right spot for you with its many steps…

I had an amazing 3-night stay at Intervallo! The location is perfect, in-between Ibla and Superiore and the view from the terrace is incredible. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and my balcony also had a stunning view of Ibla. Vincenzo is the best host: he helped me with lots of recommendations and information and helped me to book a taxi to the airport. Vincenzo also made the most amazing breakfast with a mixture of sweet and savoury local items. I highly recommend to everyone.
