Where does one start? Right from our arrival Claudine made us feel welcome. She went to great effort to show us around those areas of the house and garden (including pool....my was that water fresh!) which were for guests; also explaining how it was a "project" they took on . She asked about breakfast likes. dislikes and allergies. Breakfast was plentiful, some regulars such as croissants and some home made surprises each day; we did not really need any lunch each day after that breakfast. The room was a reasonable size, bed comfortable and a good size bathroom with shower; everything was spotlessly clean. Parking is on street outside, but Claudine and Patrick do keep the spaces outside the house chained off so no one else can park there. It is a short walk into Sarlat, so a glass or two of wine with dinner without a need to drive back! Claudine gave us plenty of recommendations for places to eat and visit, a veritable Tourist Office. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend staying here.

Minor point, and only a minor point, possibly a better hanging rail or wardrobe rather than hangers on hooks on the roof beam; but only really relevant to a longer stay.

Claudine was a perfect host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The room was a good size with everything we needed. The garden was beautiful with lots of different areas to sit in and a pool area to relax in after visiting Sarlat which was less than a 10mins walk away. The highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast served each morning under the trees in the garden, all prepared by Claudine with the utmost attention to detail ( having ascertained our personal preferences upon arrival) Thank you Claudine for a wonderful stay, we would not hesitate to return.

A perfect location right in Sarlat-la-Canéda village. A few minutes walking to shops, restaurants and beautiful historic centre. We appreciated the easy, free onsite parking. Claudine & Patrick were delightful, friendly hosts. They welcomed us warmly and were very helpful. They gave us great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The homemade breakfasts each day were delicious. The guest rooms had different names. We had ‘Antarctica’, which was spacious, beautiful and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The garden, pool and outdoor area was serene and a lovely space to relax with a drink. Thank you Claudine & Patrick for having us in your lovely home. Also we really appreciated your help with scanning and emailing a document for us. Merci beaucoup.

This is one of the best stays we have ever had. We really appreciate Claudine and Patrick open their home for us - beautifully designed and decorated, super clean and comfortable, and every corner and every piece is not only visually appealing and they are made with love. We were in Salat while the day temperature was in 90F. Even though the unit does not have air conditioning, it remained cool inside with blinds down during the day. Dipping into the pool and resting in shade in the beautiful and well kept garden also helped a lot. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and fresh. Claudine and Patrick took great care of us, gave us good suggestions at places to eat and made us welcome and feel like home. We stayed for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed for the whole week. Merci!!!

Claudine was an excellent hostess. Her breakfast was amazing and was by far the best we have had from a B&B for a long time. Freshly cooked omelette, home made yogurt and fig syrup to go with it as well as home made cake. The house is spotless and the outside area at the back with swimming pool was very nice . We stayed just one night but decided to stay again on the way back home. Claudine recommended and provided details of local restaurants having obviously tested them herself . She gave us recommendations for the places to visit again having been to check them out. It is a credit to her and her husband. The house is a 5 minute walk to the centre of Sarlat.

The front of the property needed a little tidy up but that might be one of the projects on the list so don't let that put you off when approaching.

Quiet and safe location close to the old town, away from the noise and crowds, but within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions of Sarlat. Beautiful private en-suite room, communal facilities, large garden and pool. Only 6 guests maximum, so we often had garden and pool to ourselves. Claudine and Patrick are attentive and helpful hosts. The breakfasts are excellent, different every day, and beautifully presented, with home made jams and cakes.

The quality of the room and it's furnishings, the efforts that are taken to welcome guests and provide a genuine hospitable experience. The outside space was lovely with a relaxing garden to sit in after a busy day of sightseeing, armed with a readily available quality coffee or cup of tea from a large choice. The breakfast was charming and almost bespoke, beautifully presented. Our hosts were welcoming and ready to advise on places to visit, restaurants to use and in my case the location of a pharmacy. They have made a genuinely welcoming home from home - thank you for a lovely stay

This is a lovely and central place to stay if you are visiting Salat. Claudine and Patrick are the perfect hosts - they are very welcoming, with many helpful recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Claudine makes fantastic breakfasts - each day is different - and always with fresh local produce. Our room was quiet and very homely - we also loved the beautiful garden. Sarlat is an incredible city and we loved exploring it - a highlight of our trip was visiting the Marqueyssac Gardens. Thank you Claudine and Patrick! We are already planning to return.

We stayed at O'Myosotis for a four night break. The house is 4-5mins walk into Sarlat town centre. Our host was so welcoming, and really made an effort to make our stay special. It was a really nice house with three guest rooms, so it nice and quiet. The property has a beautiful garden with a pool in a quiet spot, and is a very relaxing space. We had a lovely breakfast which the host tries to personalise for you where she cooks something different every day. You can take food and drink back to the house, and host will give you plates/ glasses. Overall, we would 100% recommend this property, it is decorated to a very high standard, it is very clean, the location is excellent (relative to Sarlat town centre), it is quiet, you will have your own parking space, and the hosts are so welcoming.

What a find: A special place to stay a few minutes walk from Sarlat and all its restaurants, markets and old town, but quiet. The hosts were exceptional: wonderful breakfast with a different offering every day, tea and coffee available in the lounge, and informative regarding local activities and restaurants. We ate breakfast outside under a giant wisteria with a view of the garden and Pool. The hotel only had 3 rooms, and we ate breakfast communally in the garden. Pool area was lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Free parking outside hotel, and given how busy Sarlat can get especially on market days, this was a bonus.
