From the moment my husband and I arrived at Noah's, we felt instantly relaxed and welcomed by the beautiful owner Leonie. We felt like we had arrived at at a family members home so warmly welcomed. Leonie asked questions to establish that we had everything we might need, and also advised where to eat and what was delicious from the menu. We would eat at Fleur's, however, though we were disappointed as Fleur's is closed , we absolutely loved our evening and meal at the Moreaki Tavern. It was literally a stones throw away also. We woke to birds on the outside table and in the tree in our wonderful sea view room. We strongly advise anybody and everybody to stay with this wonderful lady in her wee part of Paradise. Wish we had more time and could have stayed longer.

We were only there about 12 hours, so it is hard to write this review. We liked the location. It was on a quiet street and close to the sites we wanted to visit in the area. Our host was very friendly and even encouraged us to visit another site that we were unaware of until seeing the sign while driving from Dunedin. There was a large communal kitchen, but we did not stay long enough to use it. There were 2 bedrooms, but the main one was a bit small. The neighborhood was quiet. The place was very clean. We appreciated that our host was a little flexible on the checkout time, but we were able to leave before checkout after all.

There was a mix-up on our arrival time and our host was not there when we arrived. We were able to reach her after dinner, so no real harm there, just a bit of nervousness on our part. There was only parking for 2 cars in the driveway, but there were 3 cars, so one ended up parking on the street.

Excellent location. Beautifully decorated rooms, spotlessly clean - we had a mini apartment with separate bedroom (with quality linen), ensuite and small lounge with TV and sea views. Local tavern has a great menu and is just a few minute’s drive. Chocolate almonds were a lovely welcoming touch.

The location was perfect, not far from road, but totally away from road noise in a cute little seaside village. Property with nice gardens and sea views from the sun room and deck. Room was comfortable, decorated very nicely, and obviously well-cared for. Leonie was lovely hostess, friendly, provided local information, and available if I needed anything.

We loved everything about Noah's, from the hospitality of the owner, to the cleanliness & tidyness of the room, the beautiful view, to the complete facilities. It was a perfect stay at Moeraki.

Very friendly welcome. Made to fee right at home. Quiet, clean, plenty of space for veranda sitting, kitchen. Just a short drive from boulders and harbour and easy access to main road.

The host for this accommodation was super helpful and the room was amazing. The walk from the hotel to the Moeraki Boulders, along the beach, was about 1.7 km very easy walk and just stunning views. The whole area was great - people really friendly and so much to see. The local tavern was great for a meal.

Location was central to the things we wanted to see. Comfortable room with plenty of space and the host was lovely!

Nothing to be honest it was exactly as we expected.

Limited living area space if we had been staying longer or had more people than just the 2 of us.

Loved the little extra special touches like the lovely romantic soft furnishings & chocs. Also, we were able to bring our dog with us which was most accommodating.
