Room and facilities were all very clean. Bed was very firm but clean. Sufficient heating and quiet. Good value for money.

It was a disability room. The wet area shower curtain was too short and the water went beyond the area of the shower making more of the bathroom floor wet and slippery. It also meant that the kitchen bench area was lower to accommodate for a wheelchair access but for us meant we had to bend much lower to do dishes. Not helpful for someone with a back problem.

the gardens need tiding up. rather over grown. There is a nice outside area out the back but it needs a gardener to work on it. Also the restaurent was full for the evening, which was very disappointing a notice could have been put on the window telling guests, who like us walked and looked at the room when we arrived at 2.15pm and read in the information book that it opened at 5.30pm. we went at 5.30pm to be told it was booked for the night. Also in the room there was a sign saying Netflix was available and instructions were available, but we could not find the instructions anywhere.

Very Spacious, pet friendly, clean, tidy. Great price for size and location, Just minutes to Omaru township. Would have been nice to have some cooking items a pan, couple utensils and a hotplate. We had a microwave and glass bowel with lid, plates, bowls, cups and knives, forks spoons. I managed to make something using google. Beds were firm and comfy. :)

No pan, basic utensils to cook and hotplate would be great.

Room was just what we needed. Bathroom was lovely. Bed was comfy and room stayed nice and warm. Room was pretty soundproof. Very clean.

Parking was somewhat of an issue, being first in basis and we couldn't park outside our unit but did find a parking spot within tthe complex.

Perfect location. Handy to everything as long as you have transport. Nice room. We had a view of the hill behind Oamaru so the afternoon sun streamed in keeping it warm during the day. VERY good price for a holiday weekend. We wanted to come back but it was booked out. Highly recommend this motel.

No hair conditioner- a small thing for some but it was Easter so the shops were closed so I couldn't buy my own. Please supply conditioner. TV is tiny and while the sign said they had Netflix we couldn't get it to work but we weren't visiting to watch TV so it didn't matter. It got very cold in the night and there is no aircon, just a small panel heater on the wall. I can imagine this would be a big problem in the winter.

Great studio room. We booked this room last minute and arrived late. I phoned to ask how to check-in late - very friendly and helpful response. This was part of a long roadtrip and I booked it for kitchen facilities included so we could make our own food. after restaurants would be closed. Great value. Clever little upgrades on this older complex. Great parking, clean and comfortable bed!

Frying pan needs replacing and there was no utensil to get our eggs out of it.

Really good value for money, a clean, nice comfy room with everything we needed. We also purchased dinner from their restaurant which they delivered to our room. We were really impressed at the meals, they were perfectly cooked and presented and really good value for money. Definitely a perfect place to spend the night if your exhausted from driving and want a really good meal. Situated on the main highway but even though we were in a room close to the road we didn't hear any road noise.

Room was generously sized and we had a great balcony out the back with seating, where we could watch the bowls club. Shower was powerful and surprisingly hot! Well appointed kitchenette (toaster, microwave, kettle and all cutlery & crockery), which was useful during our stay over New Year and we really only had supermarkets as options for food.

Not an issue for us, as we purposely travelled without a car, but probably best for most people if they have a vehicle to access this accommodation and the town. We didn't mind the 25 minute walk to town, or hour's walk to the penguin colony, but the accommodation was worth it for us.

We were in the 2 bedroom apartment. We had a lovely outdoor spaces with peaceful garden view outside the en-suite master and living space. Furniture was comfy. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom with spa tub.

This is an older motor lodge and some areas could be updated.

We loved the room and the cleanliness and the size. The location was great and the owners were very hospitable. Great parking and space to get in and out. The bed was so comfortable and the balcony at the back was lovely.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.
