Very clean rooms and short distance to the town. The bed was extremely comfortable.

We did not have an iron or a hairdryer in the room which was a bit disappointing given that we were in Oamaru for a funeral where I was giving the eulogy. Car park was a bit of an issue as we had to park our vehicle on the road the entire week that we were there, which was a bit of a distance from our upstairs motel room, and where it rained the whole time.

Location was good. Unit is a good size. Bathroom was great. Bed and pillows were comfy.

Couple of minor things need fixed. Curtain in corner on room had come off its runners and wouldnt close properly which means when the lights are on people can see in when walking past. Its missing the hooks so hubby couldnt hang it back up again. Also the blind above sink is broken so doesn't open or close. Makes the room too dark. Also doesn't quite cover the window so a curtain there would provide more privacy, stop the street light glaring in through them too considering it faces the street.

The hotel was amazing, the customer service provided to us when we arrived was amazing. I will forever be thankful to the receptionist lady who made sure that our stay for the long weekend was excellent. Thank you once again! We apologies if we left any mess behind with the rooms.

All the facilities within the complex were nice and clean. Staff was cooperative too and very understanding of requests. We enjoyed our stay.

We didn’t have enough toilet paper in the toilet (2 rolls) for an overnight stay but, with a family (4 adults, 1 child). No milk available (not sure if they provide or not), but everything else was fine.

I expected much less when reading previous reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that the room (no.7) had undergone an upgrade compared to the reviews and pictures on the site. I would suggest an upgrade on the pics would be handy...or maybe I was lucky with the room allocation?

Receptionist was soo lovely and helpful. There had been a mix up when we changed dates on booking.com. however the lady at the motel was soo helpful and rectified it immediately. Excellent having the bowling and resturant right next door too.

Kitchen could have been cleaner, splashback was fairly dirty.

I liked everything. very clean goof shower pressure. great TV channels and reception lady was friendly. very warm and beds are comfortable

no cook top. loud neighbour's were drunk snf arguing. tenant on top of balcony slso told my son off fpr getting fresh sir outside at 7.30pm, was not happy

The location it was convenient for us, the atmosphere was awesome and the people that we got to meet are such an awesome beautiful bunch we will definitely be back.

Maybe the karen next door telling us to be quiet at 7pm 😑 and it was just our voices 🤦‍♀️

Very good pre-stay communication, flexible re us needing an early key pick up. Friendly staff/proprietors. Excellent studio unit, very comfortable and warm for us three.

I named the older style heatpump the fire dragon about 4am as it was a bit noisy... But seriously that's a minor complaint, the room, facilities, location, staff and tariff were excellent.. Will definitely book again.
