This is a wonderful motel. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable, affording us wonderful sleep. It is not a fancy place, but the surroundings are well maintained and offer a beautiful setting for the motel. The owner is quiet and simply hands you the key, but I suppose there is nothing that needs further talk.

I must mention that I paid almost 3 times per night for this room as I paid the previous night in a Hampton. I know this is a vacation setting and this weekend was covered by the marathon, but the price was really up there for the facility. And it surely is not a Hampton.

Good location and spacious rooms - AC is working well. There is plenty of parking spaces in front of the motel. No breakfast offered, but few stores in proximity.

Check-in is mandatory before 7PM, otherwise you have to get your key from the hotel mailbox (if your credit card has been accepted). I wish this was communicated on BOOKING.COM as we only got a call a few hours before arriving to the motel.

the room was very clean and all fresh/updated/new. bed comfy as well as pillows. Great water pressure for shower! very nice accomodations!!

Odd (to us) check in. Had to call a number and someone would tell us what room we were in, which is fine, but telephone issues that day so no one responded. We left the area and went for a drink while we waited the call. They did explain storms, so likely that was the telephone issue. All else was great, one note, not soft closing toilet lid so OOOOPS sorry neighbors when there was a loud bang in the night! :)

Location to surrounding towns and public sights was great. A National Parks office was located across the road within walking distance. The cleanliness of our room was very good.

We were in room 1 which is next to the outdoor ice machine and the much used staircase to the second floor. So noisy, throughout the day and night. The room walls did not provide much noice insulation. We heard other occupants talking, watching television, and snoring. The bathtub spout was the home of a constant drip. CK

We came to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes and this motel is right next to the Visitor Center so the location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. There weren't many others staying in our building (maybe because it was so expensive?) so it was quiet at night. There was a nice cafe down the street for breakfast, we had dinner in Glen Arbor.

Convenient, comfortable and newly renovated. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Small, quaint town but not a lot of restaurants. Loved walking down to the beach in the evenings, passing cute shops. Nice to have a refrigerator.

Not many restaurants in the area but that’s no regulation of the property.

Great location near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Very clean and new.. Comfortable beds. We had car trouble and arrived very late but they accommodated us by leaving keys. Very reassuring and helpful.

We were confused by the two buildings. GPS took us to the wrong one. Just ask before you go. I knew about the two buildings and was still confused in the dark. Steps might be hard for some people.

Loved the location of this quaint inn. It was very clean and well maintained. The room was nice and updated. It was near restaurants, lakes, and sleeping bear dunes. Over all great stay.

Only issues were the bed was a little hard for my liking and pillows were too thick for my preference. There was an odd running water noise that sounded like it was near our window that woke me up each night of our stay, which was a little annoying. Not sure if it was runout water from the ac or what it was, but it was loud enough to wake me and have me dreaming about pipes bursting and flooding our room lol.

This was a perfect one-night stay while I was in town visiting family in the area, walkable to food options, outdoor scenery, and any needs we might have.

The thermostat/heater combo didn't seem to work in tandem with each other. The room was chilly when we entered, and adjusting the room controls didn't seem to trigger the heat, although the under the window heater worked fine.

Excellent location. Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Right next to gas station with plenty of options for breakfast, snacks, even dinner after a long day in the sun. Staff was super friendly. Walking or driving distance to Empire beach. Stayed here after getting engaged on Empire Bluff Trail, really enjoyed our stay here after such an exciting day.
