The location was perfect! Very close to downtown/stores and shops etc, and the Bayline Bata bus stops right in front!

This is not a complaint only criticism, but most of all the clean towels had brown stains, either poo stains or make-up, but getting past that little fear and disgust, everything else was perfect, no complaints whatsover. Maybe in the future the motel can use a better bleach solution for linen and towels. And also go through the whole towel inventory and swap out the stained towels for new ones?

We loved our stay here!! To me its all about cleanliness and hospitality. We recieved both at this location. We will absolutely stay here next time we visit!

Its so minimal I feel bad even mentioning it but if I had to pick something to improve.....it would be over the top nice if the bathrooms were updated.

Breakfast was good (I’m a light breakfast eater, snacks were perfect). Location is near downtown, very convenient to get to restaurants. Perfect room to stay and sleep. Staff went above expectations for a comfortable stay.

Hotel still uses physical keys (not keycards); however, I did not feel unsafe because of the older locks. Deadbolts were sturdy.

Location was PERFECT for what we needed. I did not try the breakfast because I had a full breakfast waiting for me at another venue. The coffee in the room was good with real half-and-half. The bedroom and bathroom were VERY clean and bright with nice decor. Room had a small refrigerator that actually worked. The cost of the room was relatively inexpensive (compared to others we looked at near by), which made it a good value for how nice it turned out to be.

One slight negative is that there is no elevator. This was okay with us even though we were on the second floor, however it could be an issue for some travelers.

We travel with a pet, so while we can't get to the 'best' locations, the location was within a mile of downtown and the beaches etc. Our room was great! Loved the space, additional sitting area and full size fridge. Very comfortable.

Parking can be less than optimal, but overall everything was great!

This is a small, old motel. For what it is, it has been kept up well - flat screen TV, small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. No closet, but a dresser with nook to hang clothes. Very clean with newer bathroom , though like in a mobile home. Best value for the money. If you want luxury you'll pay 2-3 times as much/night. If you want a basic clean place for a few days this is it. The breakfast, again for the price, was excellent: coffee, yogurt, fruit, V-8 juice, oatmeal in ready-made cups to add hot water.

It was within walking distance of the Traverse City Central High School. The bed was very comfortable as well! It was easy parking and super convenient in every way!

The faucets in the shower needed some attention, however, the water was hot and the shower had lots of water pressure.

It's an older building so it's not super fancy, but it is very clean and well maintained. Noise from the road can be a a bit loud, but the fan in the room helped cover that up really well.

Staff member was very helpful at the front desk regarding where to park our RV. Comfortable and clean room and a quiet environment. Lots of outlets for charging computers, phones etc.

We found Grand Traverse Motel to be one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The area and room were very quiet.

The only thing we didn't like was the light outside our room was very bright and it never got dark inside.
