The room was simple and clean

The bed close to the bathroom has a dip on it. The tv channels are not very appealing. I wish a utube channel was on the selection

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. The room had new carpet and fresh paint on the walls. New beds and they were very comfortable. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is adequate. Nothing fancy but there are options such as toaster heated pancakes and waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, pastries, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. The breakfast area was very clean and cozy. I like that there is a sink and hand soap in the food area.The pool was well maintained. The location of the motel is near several restaurants and about a 20-30 minute walk to downtown TC. There are several beaches in the area. I do recommend this place especially if you are just doing a short stay and don't want to spend much. Some motels are dumps and don't care but this place tried raising the bar and it shows in the details.

We did have an issue with our key not opening our door on two occasions but it was immediately rectified on both occasions.The outside could use a little more love, it's a bit drab. But it does make up for it on the inside. I would not call the room dirty because it wasn't but, just a bit more attention to detail in the bathroom wouldn't hurt.

Super 8 exceeded my expectations! The staff were super friendly. The room was super cute, clean, and spacious. The design in the rooms were modern and intentional. The breakfast was great. It was my first motel experience with young children, and it was really great! We at first chose it for being a cheaper place, but it ended up being really nice and had the feel of a more expensive hotel. We definitely will be looking to stay at Super 8’s more in the future.

The bathtub wasn’t working, but the shower was great.

Property was great for an older hotel. Clean and comfortable. Great accommodation for the price.

Older air conditioner was very loud with the higher temp and humidity hard to sleep the first night. It was working quite hard. But the second night with the slightly cooler temp and less humidity it was much quieter. Otherwise the property was great.

The property is located close to all the major hotels and the water.

nothing against the super Eight grounds, but the area in general could use the city to do some up keeping There is a comfort Inn next-door that appears to have property that they rent out to individuals who are extremely low poverty and behaving the nefariously outdoors.

The hotel is clean enough, it's in a safe neighborhood and a very good value for the area. It is in the heart of Traverse City very close to the water. Limited parking- no trailer parkin, but there are safe parking lots close enough for overnight parking. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good enough. I will definitely return and recommend it for what it is, a very good budget motel. Wishing you good travels. 😊 Terry

The location was great and the staff was very helpful.

The beds were a little stiff but all in all everything was clean and somewhat cozy. We had a little bit of an issue at check-in with the room not being ready well after 3pm but I did request a certain room type so that’s not unusual. We just went downtown to shop for the grandbabies while we waited.

parking it is terrible if one person parks crooked then another person wont have a parking space. they have no extra parking spaces. They told me it is one car per room so if any one has a friend stop over and they park there then somebody is going to be with out a parking space, not a good thing.

The television system is horrible. The host couldn't get the t.v. to work, so we had none. There were stains on the carpet, but we were told at check-in. Apparently, we stayed before a remodel.

That we had to use and check-in at the office across the street without notification.

Manager Jessica was SO helpful! Property was clean and centrally located. The room was very clean and comfortable. Price was very reasonable compared to other hotels. I will definitely go back!

Traffic noise from the main road was loud. Our room was next to the ice machine and vending machine. People were slamming the door going in and out so also quite loud.
