The location obviously is the absolute selling point. We were able to get a room in the tower this year, and it was truly stunning. The food at the on-site restaurant is simply put, delicious. The staff that waited on us, was our waitress last year as well, and you can tell she truly loves her job and we appreciate that.

Seem to be short staffed. Trying to call on the way to check if our room was ready was over 25 minutes of waiting while no one answered the phone. When I arrived, he was still very busy on the phone. Common issue, just a little bit frustrating.

Obviously, I’m at the location. The staff is absolutely superb, if you book in the historic side, the rooms are gorgeous, not over the top elegance, but you definitely feel the vibe of the park place! The upstairs cocktail hour has amazing views and should definitely be on your itinerary. And the restaurant food is incredible.

Really nothing! Everything about our stay was, and always is incredible.

Perfect central location in town, with everything within walking distances. View from the room was amazing and staff were outstanding. Aaron at the desk was super accommodating when asking for an early check-in. Such a helpful and wonderful young man! We disagree with some reviews of it being being outdated. We appreciate the charm and authenticity this place and its history brings along with it. Beds were comfy and bathroom was what we expected it to be.

The decor was amazing. I loved the lounge, and the rooftop bar was exceptional! It had a great view of West Grand Traverse Bay and the carnival going on.

Everything was great. I think the only thing would be my view of the beach was blocked! From my suite on the 3rd floor. But that is not the fault of park place! We went to the rooftop bar and the view was great. Not too busy either, exceptional location.

Room With a View -- Exceptional! Bed was very comfortable! Staff was very accommodating! Stay was shortened to just 3 nights & was not charged for the change.... Even received Upgraded Room for our special occasion weekend. (33rd Anniversary!)

Learned -- after two nights -- that housekeeping services were only available "after 4th night stays" -- or some such -- which was pretty disappointing (@ nearly 200$/night!) & about which we had no idea... So had to ask for clean set of towels after 2 days. (Not impressed)

Location. Pool is huge. Facilities very nice

Out bathroom interesting. Tub shower with shower head at about 5’5”. 1 tiny shampoo, conditioner and lotion for 4 people for two-day stay. One bar of soap. For your sink and apparently bring it in the shower, too. For over $1000 for two nights- I expected a little more.

I absolutely loved the location, walkable to everything. I appreciated the airport shuttle and the super nice driver. Incredible pools!

It is an older building, but then again that gives it a sense of charm.

Rooms need remodel. Bathroom very small with a toilet that was extremely low to the floor. No toiletries in room… not even a bar of soap

Clean and convenient location

The coffee bar in lobby didn’t have lids for the coffee Made it hard to take the coffee along I believe there use to be lids and different cups in the past years, Not a big deal, but was bummed to have to purchase coffee elsewhere.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. We walked to so many restaurants, shops and the bay in just a few minutes.. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good.
